Great Day….need more time.

Our tour with Peter was very informative and we had a great time. We visited Hampton Court and Windsor Castle. The only negative comment is he didn’t plan time for a quick lunch and we were famished with all the walking. Communication was a little bad considering we had to stand in rain over twenty minutes trying to find him at Windsor Castle.

Response from the operator: Dear Vickie, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your candid review. I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed your tour with Peter. We have shared your feedback with him and take your suggestions onboard. We look forward to welcoming you again on your next trip to England. Best wishes! David Garcia Owner Bespoke England Tours

Great personalized experience

Peter picked us up from our hotel promptly at the meeting time and took us to Hampton Court first. We had chosen the pre purchase ticket option and it was very efficient and easy - Peter told us about the history on the way, pointed out where to start and set us on our way. After we were finished at Hampton Court, we headed to Windsor Castle. Again, Peter shared the history while we drove, took us into the castle to the point where he was allowed and then set us on our way. The one-on-one private tour is a great option and exactly what we were looking for - a personalized experience that takes all of the guess work out of traveling and visiting highlights close to London.

Response from the operator: Dear Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a great review. I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed your tour with Peter, he’ll be delighted with your feedback! We look forward to welcoming you again on your next trip to England. Best wishes! Best experience & day!!

This is our 4th time we have used a private tour guide in our travels abroad. All have been great but we must say this tour with Peter was the best experience we ever had! He was so personable it was delightful spending the day with him! We felt we made a friend! However his historical knowledge of Hampton Court, Windsor Castle and British history in general was amazing and he made the entire day remarkable! There was not a question he could not answer. He is exceptional in every way! I’m only sorry we could only express our satisfaction with this experience by only 5 stars! Peter is heads above 5 stars, more like 50 stars! He far exceeded our expectations! Much appreciation to such a fine and knowledgeable gentleman! Thank you!

Worth every penny

Due to flight cancellations by AA we had to reschedule our tour, which was not easy, I’m sure, but David’s team handled it marvelously. Our blue badge guide, Oliver was superb in all the history and details that he included. He made it easy for us to fit in as much or as little as we wanted. Our driver, Ramon was very accommodating, as well, as we had to be dropped off at two different spots when the tour was over. All things considered, this tour was our very favorite part of our time in London and I highly recommend splurging on this!

Response from the operator: Dear Sharon, Thanks for taking the time to leave us such a great review. We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed your tour with Oliver and Remon, we have already passed your comments on to them and they’re delighted too! We look forward to welcoming you again on your next trip to England. Best wishes! David

Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Private Car with Driver Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Private Car with Driver Guide cost?

+

Prices start at $1710 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Private Car with Driver Guide take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Private Car with Driver Guide worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Private Car with Driver Guide?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Private Car with Driver Guide suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Private Car with Driver Guide?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Private Car with Driver Guide start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
