What you get

    About this experience

Nice tour of the “Highlights” of Valencia through the centuries, the periods of glory are visible everywhere in the beautiful architecture and pleasant squares in the old town. This part of town is full of life and traditions... We pass the train station, Post Office, Central Market Hall, Plaza Redonda, Cathedral, Basilica with the icing on the cake the guided visit to the 15th Century Lonja or Silk Halls (Unesco World Heritage). In the Carmen district, we look for the more alternative art of contemporary street art. Especially interesting to explore the old town with an expert guide, we visit “not to be missed” places where you can’t go with a bike tour. Lots of tips for your further stay. For the people who want to get more out of their stay in Valencia than just cycling. If you wish to participate at another time, contact us for the possibilities: info@gidsvalencia.com

Annick is an experienced guide who explains very clearly both the buildings and life in Valencia. She tells anecdotes that stick and you get a clear picture of Valencia in a short time. Absolutely worth it, especially in combination with the bike ride.

Response from the operator: Superbedankt voor uw waardering!

Since she has lived in Valencia for quite some time, she knows the best places.

We did a three-hour walk through Valencia with Annick. The next day we did a beautiful bike tour. She is very enthusiastic and has a lot of ready knowledge. She can guide individual groups as well as larger groups. Highly recommended.

Response from the operator: Hartelijk bedankt voor uw beoordeling. Het was leuk om jullie te mogen rondleiden in Valencia om jullie te doen genieten van alle bekende en minder bekende plekjes in deze prachtige stad. Gracias!

Fascinating Dutch-language tour of all the tourist highlights, but also hidden spots.

It was a fantastic experience to discover Valencia with guide Annick. She took us not only to the tourist highlights, but also to places in the city that you would definitely not find otherwise. She also always had something fascinating to say and did this in a non-annoying way. We got a lot of facts about the city that you wouldn't pay attention to otherwise. There was also a lot of interaction, which kept you glued to her cool stories. It could easily take a little longer than half a day, but now we have a reason to definitely go back and book her again. Annick speaks fluent Dutch, and has lived in Valencia for a long time.

Response from the operator: Valencia is een fantastische stad, héél blij dat ik dat op enkele uurtjes heb kunnen overbrengen...Weet dat ik nog veel meer in petto heb voor wanneer jullie ooit terugkomen... Altijd welkom!

Annick is a fantastic guide: she talks about Valencia and its rich history in a fascinating and informative way, with a touch of humour here and there. Thanks to her you will discover not only the famous places, but also hidden gems that you would otherwise miss. A real discovery! For English-speaking tours, her husband Felipe is an absolute must – equally professional and passionate. In short: Annick and Felipe are a top duo. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Het was héél leuk om jullie groep te mogen rondleiden! Hartelijk bedankt om met ons samen te werken! Hopelijk tot nog eens in Valencia! Warme groetjes

Walking tour through the old town with a Dutch-speaking city guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Valencia.

How much does Walking tour through the old town with a Dutch-speaking city guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Valencia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Walking tour through the old town with a Dutch-speaking city guide take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Valencia is not rushed.

Is Walking tour through the old town with a Dutch-speaking city guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Valencia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Walking tour through the old town with a Dutch-speaking city guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Walking tour through the old town with a Dutch-speaking city guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Walking tour through the old town with a Dutch-speaking city guide?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Valencia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Valencia and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Walking tour through the old town with a Dutch-speaking city guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Valencia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Valencia?

    +

On Outty we rank every Valencia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Valencia Bike Tour from the City to the Beach, plus Bike Guy App!, Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia, Real Paella Cooking Class – Market Visit & Sangría Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Valencia?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Valencia?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
