Be aware of Gustavo
We can only give the lowest review to the operator and viator. There was no communication the morning of our tour and the tour guide did not show up to meet us. After many phone calls and communication the tour guide told us he was not even in Spain. We wasted our day planning for this event and waiting 1 hour to be picked up with no one showing. Be careful of Gustavo as he will only blame others and offer nothing to remedy his issue.

I have repeatedly asked Viator to resolve this unfortunate issue; although they assure me my email is active, that is not the case. After a long conversation with the Viator team, they have assured me that—following this regrettable incident (which was unfortunate for both parties, given that I am a completely professional and reliable official guide)—I will receive notifications moving forward. Whenever I receive a booking notification, I immediately contact the client to thank them for placing their trust in me. In the event of unavailability due to fully justifiable reasons—such as weather conditions, illness, etc.—I notify them right away and even offer alternatives, which is standard practice in the tourism industry. It is worth noting that once a booking is made, clients have access to my personal phone number; you could have messaged me the day before. I apologize once again, and I am reporting this situation to the Viator team. Regards.

Fantastic experience.
Gustavo has really made this experience enjoyable and he was very knowledgeable about València. He explained the history of Valencia, he guides us through the market where we purchased our food for the paella. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone that is interested in an experience that is unique to the typical touristic venues. This is a taste of Valencia and makes you want to come back.
