    Excellent tour

We booked late Tuesday for a Wednesday morning trip. Rodrigo met us at the end of the pier. As there was only 2 of us we had a car and our guide was Juan. We did a tour of the town and south beaches, including various monuments, Juan was very informative. We stopped for a snack and drink on a lovely beach. Our last stop was Punta Loma where we saw the seal lions. Highly recommend and reasonably priced, and nothing was rushed!

Response from the operator: We're so glad you enjoyed our beautiful city with us and liked the homemade empanadas against a lovely backdrop.

Sea lions, beaches and a great guide. What more could you ask for?

A great tour of the town, it's industry, history and fabulous secluded beaches. And, DON'T forget the sea lions. Our guide, Juan was incredibly knowledgeable and, being a local, could tell us all the personal information that you don't normally get on a big tour. Oh, and how could I forget the empanadas!

Response from the operator: We're so glad you enjoyed it, especially with the help of local people! The landscapes, traditions, and food are what we want to share with every visitor like you! Thank you for choosing us.

Fabian was very flexible with our tour requests. He showed us lovey beaches and provided insightful information about the area and country. Delicious snakes and wine at a scenic spot. Language not a problem. Record the private tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for choosing us! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour and the homemade empanadas we made especially for you. Having a professional guide like Fabian is very rewarding and helps us grow every day.

    Very nice trip

We went on an excursion on February 11. Roberto, our guide, did a wonderful job. Despite the strong wind, we made all the planned stops. The viewpoint where we observed elephant seals was very convenient, and it was possible to take stunning photos. The next stop was especially impressive: we climbed one of the nearby hills (wear sneakers, as the ascent and descent can be slippery) and saw a breathtaking view of Patagonia. Afterwards, we had lunch with Malbec and the most delicious homemade empanadas prepared by Roberto and his wife. We recommend this trip. Thank you Katerina and George

Response from the operator: I'm so glad you had a wonderful experience! It's an excursion you won't find anywhere else. Rodrigo, our guide who accompanied you that day, showed you places only locals know about and can get to! And something important... homemade empanadas made by a local! Thank you so much, Katerina and George, for enjoying it with us. Until next time!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puerto Madryn.

How much does Tour South Circuit - Best of Puerto Madryn for CRUISES cost?

    +

Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puerto Madryn usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Tour South Circuit - Best of Puerto Madryn for CRUISES take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puerto Madryn is not rushed.

Is Tour South Circuit - Best of Puerto Madryn for CRUISES worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puerto Madryn, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Tour South Circuit - Best of Puerto Madryn for CRUISES?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Tour South Circuit - Best of Puerto Madryn for CRUISES suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Tour South Circuit - Best of Puerto Madryn for CRUISES?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puerto Madryn can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puerto Madryn and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Tour South Circuit - Best of Puerto Madryn for CRUISES start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puerto Madryn within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Puerto Madryn?

    +

On Outty we rank every Puerto Madryn experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best of Peninsula Valdés in one day, Shore Tours Punta Tombo Cruise Ship Passengers Puerto Madryn, Snorkeling with Sea Lions by Madryn Buceo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Puerto Madryn?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Puerto Madryn?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
