Amazing Tasting Tour of Valencia
Cesar gave us excellent insight into the tastes of Valencia, we would highly recommend him to anyone seeking out such an experience. The pace was perfect and his insights into the architecture and history of Ciutat Vella between stops was great.

Great tour with a great guide!
Valentin was a great guide. He told us so much about the city’s history and also about its food culture. We had a wonderful time with great food. You can see he does it with passion. Would love to do it again!

Unfortunately somewhat disappointing
Unfortunately, the tour with Luciana was not very satisfying. We were rushed through the market and didn't get to try anything there. Afterwards, we went to the nearest tapas bar and when we wanted to order something extra, we were refused. The tour ended 15 minutes early because she was already close to her apartment. We were two groups, and the other group had a great guide (Valentin) and was able to try much more. So, unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us. And she wasn't very friendly either.
Response from the operator: Hi Lena, Thank you for sharing your feedback about the Valencia tour. We understand how pacing, tasting opportunities, and guide interaction can shape the overall experience, and we appreciate you letting us know your perspective. After checking in with the host, our understanding is that there were tastings included and that the flow of the tour was adapted to the group’s preferences on the day, with the finish time adjusted accordingly. We’ll review your comments with the host to ensure expectations around market time, tastings, and pacing are consistently clear and well balanced. Thank you again for the detailed note — it helps us keep improving. Kind regards, The Withlocals Team

Compared to other food...
Compared to other food tours I’ve done I was expecting to learn a lot more about the history and culture of Valencia. It didn’t feel as organized or as professional as my other experiences.
Response from the operator: Hi Alita, Thank you for sharing your impressions of the Valencia food tour. We understand that every traveler brings different expectations, especially if you’ve joined other food tours in the past. Our experiences are designed to blend tastings with the personal stories and perspective of a local host, which can feel quite different from a more structured or traditional format. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us better understand how each guest experiences our tours. We hope to see you soon again, next time we will be sure to hit the mark! Kind regards, The Withlocals Team

Private Tastings Tour of València
Our private 3 hour food tour with our local guide, Valentín, was excellent. Valentín was passionate about the food in Valencia. We took in the Central Market with some tastings, followed by lunch at a lovely small restaurant and finished with Agua de València at a fun outdoor bar. Valentín also gave us recommendations for local bars and restaurants, at one of which we enjoyed delicious paella. A tour definitely worth doing!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
The 10 Tastings of Valencia With Locals: Private Food Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Valencia.
How much does The 10 Tastings of Valencia With Locals: Private Food Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $149 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Valencia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does The 10 Tastings of Valencia With Locals: Private Food Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Valencia is not rushed.
Is The 10 Tastings of Valencia With Locals: Private Food Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 121 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Valencia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule The 10 Tastings of Valencia With Locals: Private Food Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is The 10 Tastings of Valencia With Locals: Private Food Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book The 10 Tastings of Valencia With Locals: Private Food Walking Tour?
+
Around 42 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Valencia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Valencia and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does The 10 Tastings of Valencia With Locals: Private Food Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Valencia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Valencia?
+
On Outty we rank every Valencia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Valencia Bike Tour from the City to the Beach, plus Bike Guy App!, Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia, Real Paella Cooking Class – Market Visit & Sangría Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Valencia?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Valencia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
