    Beware of excuses.

Had booked this tour a month ahead knowing it’s peak season in Aug. the night before our pick up- was called by the company - van’s brakes aren’t working - can’t go. They offered a star gazing instead or another day as option but this was our last day in town and we weren’t interested in having a cold/late night so we declined. They cancelled and refunded. Hard to believe a reputable and large company such as this had no other van’s avail. We had come all the way from nyc , had to good about booking really far in advance, had a tight itinerary put together- and for them to use the excuse of a non working vehicle to rob us of a Teide day trip is inexcusable. Absolutely unacceptable. Shame on them.

Amazing tour, amazing service and great value for money.

Another amazing tour. This is the 2nd year we have used this company, this time with different family members attending. The information provided and tour itinerary is perfect , the views are amazing and the service is second to none. Will be returning next year for the star gazing tour. Thank you again for a great day.

    There was not enough...

There was not enough people for the morning trip. They purposed evening. Evening had too many people - not a small group of eight as advertised, more like 40. Star gazing was good.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We're sorry that we weren't able to run your original morning tour due to low numbers and appreciate your flexibility in joining the evening experience instead. We also understand your disappointment regarding the group size. While each guide works with a small group, there are occasions when several groups share the same viewing area. We appreciate that this can feel busier than expected, and we'll certainly review how we set expectations for our guests. That said, we're really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the stargazing itself. At the end of the day, our goal is to give guests an unforgettable view of Tenerife's incredible night sky, and we're glad that part of the experience still stood out. Thank you again for your honest feedback.

    Wonderful

A nice, friendly, four-hour trip to Teide national park. Our guide, Ozzi, is friendly, curious and helpful in every way imaginable. It can be intimidating to book a tour like this in an unknown environment, but we felt like we were in very good hands. It doesn't hurt that Teide and Vilaflor are very beautiful and fascinating places.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear you felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the experience. It’s completely understandable that booking a tour in a new place can feel intimidating, so we’re especially happy that Ozzy helped you feel at ease and supported. Teide and Vilaflor are truly special places, and we’re glad you were able to enjoy their beauty and charm. We really appreciate your trust and hope to welcome you again for another great experience in Tenerife! ✨

Small Group Teide National Park Volcanic and Forest Wonders: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.

How much does Small Group Teide National Park Volcanic and Forest Wonders cost?

    +

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small Group Teide National Park Volcanic and Forest Wonders take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.

Is Small Group Teide National Park Volcanic and Forest Wonders worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 416 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Teide National Park Volcanic and Forest Wonders?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small Group Teide National Park Volcanic and Forest Wonders suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Small Group Teide National Park Volcanic and Forest Wonders?

    +

Around 146 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Small Group Teide National Park Volcanic and Forest Wonders start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tenerife?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tenerife?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tenerife?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
