Best surf school in Tenerife!
Oli & Anne were fantastic, if you want to experience some great surfing with great coaches, then look now further! I came with my son and Oli catered for our varied abilities in a small group which was much better than the large groups you normally see in Tenerife. Can’t recommend these guys enough! 🤙🏼

Best school in Las Americas
I had four private classes with Airam and it was a great experience. I'm a beginner but not new to surfing. He corrected some mistakes that I would never realize I was doing. After that I had a great time in one of the biginners' spot in Las Américas catching all the waves I could get and still learning every day a bit more. Definitely the best school! Thanks guys!
Response from the operator: Hey, thanks for your review, it really helps our business. We are super happy with Airam and I'm glad you enjoyed your time with him. He is a great teacher. Good to hear you got a lot of waves. Keep on learning and surfing!

The best surf school 🤩
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of taking surfing lessons in Tenerife with Santiago and Airam and it was an incredible experience. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and excellent teachers who tailored the lessons to our skill level. They provided a safe and fun learning environment, and we were able to progress quickly under their guidance. I highly recommend these lessons to anyone looking to learn to surf or to improve their skills. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you and your wife had such a fantastic experience with Santiago and Airam in Tenerife. We strive to provide personalized and enjoyable lessons for all our students, and we're delighted to hear that we were able to meet your expectations. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back for more unforgettable surfing adventures in the future!

Small Group Surf Lesson in Playa de las Americas: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.
How much does Small Group Surf Lesson in Playa de las Americas cost?
+
Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Small Group Surf Lesson in Playa de las Americas take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.
Is Small Group Surf Lesson in Playa de las Americas worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Small Group Surf Lesson in Playa de las Americas?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Small Group Surf Lesson in Playa de las Americas suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Small Group Surf Lesson in Playa de las Americas?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Small Group Surf Lesson in Playa de las Americas start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tenerife?
+
On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tenerife?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tenerife?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
