Not a beer bike as still broken, but the alternative boat trip was good

Not a beer bike, after booking they told us it was broken and moved us onto a boat instead, by the other reviews it seems this has been happening for a few months now yet the service is still being offered. They then tried to change the time of the booking and said the drinks that were listed on Viator were not included and we’d have to pay extra if we wanted the wine. After saying that we would cancel they had a change of heart and we got the drinks included and the original time booked. The actual boat trip was good and the captain was very nice and friendly, the boat does have pedals like the bike but they’re just for show and it has a motor so you don’t really pedal at all

SCAM ! Do not book this activity !

It’s a total scam. Do not book this activity. I booked this for my friend’s bachelorette, and the day before we were told that the “bike was broken.” No reimbursement options were offered, only a boat alternative. My friend doesn’t like boats, but since we were 8 girls and had less than 24 hours to find another activity, we felt pressured to go ahead. A few hours later, I received another WhatsApp message saying that our package included 3 glasses per person and asking which drinks we wanted. When I replied, I was then told that our package actually included only 2 glasses. He repeatedly told me to check my reservation, and when I did, I saw that what we had actually paid for was 1L per person. When I pointed this out, he replied saying that yes, their glasses are “half a litre each.” At that point, it already felt very suspicious: the bike was broken, they apparently only have one bike (I asked and he confirmed they only have one), and the drinks included did not match what we had paid for. Unfortunately, it got much worse. When we arrived, we discovered that the boat pedals were also broken, so we couldn’t pedal at all. We could only use the engine, which completely defeated the whole purpose of booking a biking activity. The drinks situation was even worse. The bottles provided on the boat were already OPENED from the previous group. We had around 2–3 bottles in total: 1–2 bottles of water, small Coca-Colas, and 2 sangria bottles that were already half opened. When we questioned why this did not match the 1L per person we had paid for, and why we were being given opened bottles, we were told that this was what our package included. I told them that giving customers already opened bottles is absolutely unacceptable and frankly disgusting, especially given these drinks clearly cost almost nothing (we saw those same bottles at .50 cents at the supermarket). The fact that they couldn’t even provide new, sealed bottles was shocking. To make things worse, the captain, Eric, was extremely aggressive. He insisted the boat “worked fine” when it clearly didn’t, and claimed the opened bottles were “fresh,” which was completely unacceptable. Broken bike, broken boat, misleading information, opened drinks, and aggressive customer service. Avoid this company!

    Top experience 🤩🤩

Absurd experience, we had a great time. Maximum availability and attention to customers. The beer we drank is of high quality. Really recommended for those who want to get around the city by bike and enjoy the scenery.

Shared Valencia Beer Bike Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Valencia.

How much does Shared Valencia Beer Bike Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Valencia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Shared Valencia Beer Bike Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Valencia is not rushed.

Is Shared Valencia Beer Bike Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Valencia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Shared Valencia Beer Bike Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Shared Valencia Beer Bike Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Shared Valencia Beer Bike Tour?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Valencia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Valencia and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Shared Valencia Beer Bike Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Valencia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Valencia?

    +

On Outty we rank every Valencia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Valencia Bike Tour from the City to the Beach, plus Bike Guy App!, Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia, Real Paella Cooking Class – Market Visit & Sangría Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Valencia?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Valencia?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
