    Incredible excursion, worth the money!

Amigos Tours, about 20 minutes outside Cabo San Lucas, offers adventure excursions of horseback riding, ATVs, and Razor UTVs. The rates are very reasonable and they provide pick up and drop off at your resort. We booked a 1:30 pm Razor two hour trip. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find out that we would be going one on one with our guide Armando. He was very personable and knowledgeable, explaining aspects of the area, desert vegetation and ocean coastline. You get a full two hours of excitement and adrenaline driving your Razor up and down hills, across dry river beds, and ultimately along miles of stunning beach. You will get dusty, perhaps a little muddy, but will scream, laugh and smile. Upon returning to the base, they offer light food fare and both alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages (icy cold).

    Fun, but scammy.

The tour itself is awesome. Great views and super fun. But beware that if you want to bring your phone to take pictures, they make you pay $150 to make it a “private tour” Otherwise they make you leave your belongings in a locker. Also they try to nickel and dime you at every turn. From trying to get you to upgrade your vehicle (don’t do it it’s unnecessary) to pushing you to buy equally unnecessary insurance. Also the bus ride to and from the hotel is really long and really uncomfortable. The “tequila tasting” is also just another ploy to try and get you to spend more money. They barely give you a 1/4 sip of tequila. And be ready for every single person you encounter to ask for tips.

    Phenomenal Experience

Best experience by far. I was a little nervous since we had my four year old. Make sure you dress comfortably and get ready to get dirty. You either bring your own mask or you can buy one from them starting at $5. It says they provide water but we didn’t get offered any. Our tour guide was Johnny. He shared with us the name of the beach and some history on it. How far Todos Santos and La Paz was from where we were. Friendly reminder don’t forget to tip.

    Look elsewhere.

Our family of 4 just did our RzR tour with "Amigos" yesterday and Here's how it went... Our driver was sent to the wrong location. Hey, it happens. NBD, we made it there in the end. Once we arrived at the roadside location a nice cowboy was there and wanted to get one of our boys (5&7) a chance to sit on his horse. It was cute and we got to take a photo and give him a small tip for doing so. (Sweet) Obviously this is his was of trying to get us to do a trail ride. Whatever. Then we headed upstairs to check in. I saw online that there is an additional fee of $20/per person for what they call a "Park entrance fee". We didn't understand what all this ment so we tried to get some clarity on where the park was or what all we can do at this "park"... turns out, nada. It's a roadside stop. You just get to pay extra. And they wanted CASH or an additional 10% fee would be added to card transactions. 🙄 There are signs all over at the check in that say NO CELL PHONES OR PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED ON TOUR. They provided a locker for us to leave our things (including cell phones) in while we were gone. There was another couple also doing this tour with us who didn't care about the signs and began taking photos and videos from the beginning... I was like what? why? I should have mine also so I can capture these moments with our kids! This was really frustrating to watch, but there were two guys on quads following our group and taking photos, so I had hope we would get at least a couple pictures out of the experience. Our tour was great, we all really enjoyed such a unique experience and our guide did his best and showed us some special cactus and trees native to the area. We even saw Whales from the publice beach where we stopped halfway. The tour was about two hours long. When we returned we went upstairs to check out and check in about getting the pictures they took of us knowing darn well this was not going to be free 😒 but not only was it not going to be free, but they wanted to charge per/person for the photos of the 4 of us! The combination of all the things mentioned above had me rather annoyed and I was NOT going to pay the $60 they wanted for one good picture of us in front of the water and a bunch of others that were just ok. We told the guys as much and left. TAKE YOUR OWN PICTURES IS ALLOWED APPARENTLY. I've tired to take these things up with the company and requested a 20% refund through viator (which is less than the "park fee"). The company reached out via text and when i tried to explain were not only rude, but mocking the fact that we didn't know what to expect and told us our issues were our own stupidity. Honestly, I can think of a THOUSAND other ways I would have preferred to spend our $440 than give these jerks a single penny of it. If you took the time to read this, now you know more than we did and can make your own decision. Best of luck.

Response from the operator: Please disregard this review as it was posted to the wrong business. Customer never experienced our business and you can see from all of our reviews we focus on providing excellent customer service at all times to everyone.

How much does Quadruple or Double Razor Tour on Beach and Desert from Cabo San Lucas cost?

    +

Prices start at $280 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cabo San Lucas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Quadruple or Double Razor Tour on Beach and Desert from Cabo San Lucas take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cabo San Lucas is not rushed.

Is Quadruple or Double Razor Tour on Beach and Desert from Cabo San Lucas worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cabo San Lucas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Quadruple or Double Razor Tour on Beach and Desert from Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Quadruple or Double Razor Tour on Beach and Desert from Cabo San Lucas suitable for kids and families?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cabo San Lucas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cabo San Lucas and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cabo San Lucas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Humpback Whale Watching Tour in Cabo San Lucas, Cabo Desert Off-Road & Beach Horseback Combo and Tequila Tasting, Cabo All-Inclusive Private Beach Club with Open Bar and Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
