Very deceptive…would not recommend this company.

The scenery was amazing, but the trip started off badly. Martin, our driver was very nice, but the Tesla wasn’t clean and heavily smoked in. I have allergies and it made for a long day. He drove very fast on curves and actually caused us to not be able to eat out because of the motion sickness. The trip was advertised as Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. He took us to Isletwald instead of Interlaken because it “wasn't as busy.” We paid an additional $124 Euros for a trip to Grindelwald. The overall trip was advertised as 5-6 hours and with the additional 2 hours, should have been 7-8z we were gone over 10 hours. We only spent 30 minutes in Isletwald-again not Interlaken! We don’t feel we got our money’s worth and would definitely not recommend this trip to anyone!

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. However, we must clarify several important facts: • The service was fully delivered exactly as booked. • All the planned stops took place. If the time spent at some locations was shorter, this was due to the group’s own choices and the day’s circumstances, not because the stops were skipped. • At the end of the trip, you gave the driver a €200 tip. It is extremely unusual for someone who claims to have received “nothing” to reward a driver so generously. This shows that in reality, you appreciated the service provided. • After the trip, you requested a refund on the grounds of illness. We find this incomprehensible and unfair – the service was completed and enjoyed, and refunds cannot reasonably be demanded for services already fully delivered. • In addition, you posted three separate negative reviews for one single trip, which we consider a deliberate attempt to damage our company’s reputation. • Regarding your claim about “reckless and fast driving,” our driver has provided us with GPS records that clearly confirm he never exceeded the legal speed limit during the entire journey. Europe Journey has hundreds of verified positive reviews from happy travelers. We are dedicated to providing the highest standard of service, and it saddens us to see such a distorted picture being presented here. That said, we also acknowledge that mistakes can sometimes happen on our side too – we are human, and humans are not perfect. We take every piece of feedback seriously and are constantly working to improve. Our customers are always our number one priority. But there is another side as well: sometimes, unfortunately, a few guests demand full refunds even after the service has been entirely delivered. For a small business like ours, this is very painful, because we must still pay our drivers out of our own pocket. We will continue to put our heart into what we do, and we thank the many wonderful travelers who appreciate our effort and honesty. Sincerely, The Europe Journey Team

Not the trip we paid for…wouldn’t do it again.

Martin was very friendly. However, the Tesla he drove us in wasn’t completely clean and heavily smoked in. His driving was erratic and sometimes too fast. We couldn’t eat where we had planned because we felt car sick from sharp turns and speed. We ended up eating after we returned at 9 pm. We also paid $124 extra for Grindlewald which we visited, but never made it to Interlaken which was part of the trip. I would not take this trip again as it wasn’t as advertised. It was advertised as 5-6 hours but ended up over 10 hours.

    Met expectations

Nice driver who was a good conversationalist. The views were gorgeous . He went out of his way to take us places that were wheelchair accessible. The EV battery should have been fully charged before the tour. Overall, it was a great day.

Overall, we're happy to know you had a great day, and we hope to welcome you on another journey soon!

What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

How many days do you need in Zurich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
