    What you'll see and do

    1. Cusipata

Our experience begins very early, between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m., with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We will travel south through the region toward Cusipata, where we will make our first stop of the day. In Cusipata, we will take a break for breakfast, allowing you to recharge before continuing toward the Q’eswachaka Bridge.

      120 minutes here

    2. After breakfast, we will continue toward the Q’eswachaka region. Along the way, we will travel through spectacular Andean landscapes and have the opportunity to admire four of the region’s lagoons: Pomacanchi, Acopia, Asnaqocha, and Pampamarca. Surrounded by mountains and Andean communities, these lagoons offer some of the most scenic views along the route.

      60 minutes here

    3. We will also make a brief stop in Yanaoca to admire Pabellones Volcano, a small volcanic formation located just a short distance from the road. This will be a quick photo stop, giving you time to appreciate the landscape before continuing toward Q’eswachaka.

      60 minutes here

    4. After several more hours on the road, we will reach the Q’eswachaka area. Following a short walk, we will arrive at the famous traditional bridge made from ichu, the native Andean grass. Q’eswachaka is one of the most significant surviving expressions of Andean cultural tradition. Every year, local communities come together to replace the grass and rebuild the bridge, preserving an ancestral practice that has been passed down from generation to generation for more than 600 years. During the visit, you will learn about the bridge’s history, its importance to the surrounding communities, and the ceremonies associated with its annual renewal. This is one of the highlights of the experience, offering a rare opportunity to witness a living tradition that continues to this day.

      60 minutes here

    5. Cusipata

After visiting Q’eswachaka Bridge, we will begin our return journey and head back to Cusipata, where we will stop for lunch. This will be an opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy a meal before continuing toward the Q’arañahui Caves.

      60 minutes here

    6. After lunch, we will continue our journey back toward Cusco, making a stop at the Q’arañahui Caves. These natural caves feature rock formations shaped over thousands of years. Inside, you can observe stalactites and other formations that resemble a variety of intriguing shapes, making this an interesting stop for travelers wishing to discover the region’s geological features.

      30 minutes here

    7. Toward the end of the tour, we will make a brief stop at Lake Pomacanchi to admire the surrounding scenery and enjoy the sunset over the lake. This will be a more relaxed moment to take in the Andean landscape after a full day immersed in the region’s culture, history, and natural beauty. Once all activities have been completed, we will continue our journey back to Cusco. Upon arrival in the city, you will be dropped off directly at your accommodation.

    Curting Inca wonders

The landscape is beautiful, the place is very quiet with the sounds of birds that echo among the mountains. Our guide, Edson, was very attentive and even helped us with photos! Arriving early makes a lot of difference, we were the only ones taking advantage of the place.

Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals cost?

    +

Prices start at $86 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals?

    +

Included: First-aid kit; Buffet breakfast; Air-conditioned vehicle; Onboard satellite internet during transport; and Professional, qualified driver experienced in long-distance routes. Not included: Tips and gratuities, which are entirely at the traveler’s discretion; Food or beverages not specifically mentioned above; and Entrance fee to the Q’eswachaka Bridge. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

    +

What languages is Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals offered in?

    +

Is Private Qeswachaka Inca Bridge Tour with Meals wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap; and Specialized infant seats are available. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

    +
