Brilliant Tour of London
This was a really good experience which I whole heartedly recommend. My family and I were picked up at our hotel by our tour guide, William, who took us on a personal guided tour of the best parts of London. His knowledge and understanding of the City gave us the best views of the Changing of the Guard and so many of the treasures which the City has to offer. This was a stand out experience which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Response from the operator: Good Morning Malcolm, Thank you so much for your wonderful review and recommendation. We’re delighted to hear you and your family had such a great experience in London, and that William’s guidance helped you enjoy the Changing of the Guard and the city’s many treasures. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again soon. Kind Regards Richie

Best private Churchill tour ever!
We had the most amazing experience with James on our private Churchill tour. Literally could not have asked for a better guide, given our love of history, politics, and the global military complex. James was knowledgeable and so funny, the day just flew by. He arranged it all perfectly in terms of timing and distance - we enjoyed lunch, the war rooms, museum and even the shops Churchill frequented. Couldn’t recommend this tour company more!
Response from the operator: Good Morning Alison, Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We’re thrilled James made your private Churchill tour both informative and enjoyable, and that his mix of history, humour, and thoughtful planning helped the day flow so smoothly. It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed the lunch, the War Rooms, the museum, and even the Churchill shops. We’d love to welcome you back for another tailored experience, whether it’s a deeper dive into more historical chapters or a different corner of London. If you have any memorable photos or favourite moments you’d like to share, we’d be grateful. And if you know friends or family planning a London trip, a personal recommendation goes a long way. Best Wishes Richie

Wonderful tour experience
My husband and I enjoyed this tour. This was an afternoon tour shared with another couple. Our guide, James, was extremely knowledgeable and shared quite a bit of history and information. It was very hot out that week, and James was kind enough to lead us to places where we could cool off, get a cold drink, and rest. Would highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Good Morning Barbara, Thank you so much for sharing your kind review. We’re glad to hear James’ expertise and thoughtfulness enhanced your afternoon, and we’re especially grateful that he could keep you comfortable during the warmer weather. It was a pleasure hosting you and the other couple, and we’d love to welcome you back for another tour, whether you’d like to explore more history, or try a different part of London in a similarly relaxed pace. Safe travels, Kind Regards Richie

Memorable!
Had a wonderful day of sightseeing. JP is the best tour guide! He made the trip enjoyable and provided a great learning experience as we toured through London's history. We were able to tour at our own pace and never felt pressured. We stopped and walked around wherever we wanted for pictures. And JP was nice enough to take some pictures for us. Highly recommended if you want to cover a lot in one day with a great tour guide.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed your day with JP and that he helped bring London’s history to life while keeping things at your pace. It’s great that you had the don’t rush experiences you wanted, with plenty of photo stops and moments to soak it all in. I’ll be sure to pass along your compliments to JP, they’ll mean a lot to him. Thanks again for choosing our tour, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon! Kind Regards Richie

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Full Day London Group Tour with Expert Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Private Full Day London Group Tour with Expert Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $1600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full Day London Group Tour with Expert Guide take?
+
Plan for about 7.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Private Full Day London Group Tour with Expert Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full Day London Group Tour with Expert Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full Day London Group Tour with Expert Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full Day London Group Tour with Expert Guide?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full Day London Group Tour with Expert Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
