Teton Beauty
From the very beginning when I had a chance to discuss our trip with the owners to the last few minutes of the tour when our guide found a moose … it was an amazing experience. We were able to see an abundance of wildlife and beautiful vistas. Ben did a great job with all 3 generations on the trip!

Excellent Time in Grand Tetons
From the moment we booked with Teton Excursions, the entire experience was outstanding. Their team made everything incredibly easy, communicated clearly throughout the process, and ensured every detail was taken care of. It was one of the most seamless tour experiences we’ve had, and we would absolutely book with Teton Excursions again if we’re back in the Tetons. Our guide, Greg, was exceptional. His knowledge of Grand Teton National Park, the history of the area, the wildlife, and the local ecosystem added so much depth to the experience. He had a great way of explaining things that kept both the adults and our kids engaged, and he always seemed to know exactly where to position us for the best scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities. It felt like we were exploring the park with someone who truly loves it and enjoys sharing that passion with others. If you’re looking for a first-class way to experience the Tetons, I can’t recommend Teton Excursions and Greg highly enough. They turned a great day into one of the highlights of our family vacation, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again on our next trip.

Jackson Wyoming - Grand Teton and Yellowstone - Private Tour with Teton Excursions
Teton Excursions came highly recommended by a friend and now i know why! Aaron and Emily were so thoughtful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Aaron picked us up at our condo and set the tone with a full continental breakfast spread. We spent the most beautiful day taking in the beauty of the Tetons. Aaron appreciated that we are an active family so worked in some additional walks/hikes to keep the crew happy. He was so incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area, the fauna and flora… and was willing to go the extra mile to please our crowd. I would highly recommend Teton Excursions if you are considering a single or multi-day trip with friends or family to the area.

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Full-Day Grand Teton National Park Tour with Picnic Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jackson Hole.
How much does Private Full-Day Grand Teton National Park Tour with Picnic Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jackson Hole usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full-Day Grand Teton National Park Tour with Picnic Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jackson Hole is not rushed.
Is Private Full-Day Grand Teton National Park Tour with Picnic Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jackson Hole, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full-Day Grand Teton National Park Tour with Picnic Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full-Day Grand Teton National Park Tour with Picnic Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full-Day Grand Teton National Park Tour with Picnic Lunch?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jackson Hole can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jackson Hole and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full-Day Grand Teton National Park Tour with Picnic Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jackson Hole within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jackson Hole?
+
Jackson Hole is wildlife-first: sunrise safaris for moose, bison and bears in Grand Teton, Snake River floats, Yellowstone day trips and winter sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge. Guide experience and optics quality separate the wildlife tours. On Outty we rank every Jackson Hole experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Snake River Scenic Float, 8 Hour Combination Snowshoe & Wildlife Viewing in Grand Teton National Park, Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Private Safari Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jackson Hole?
+
June to September for hiking and floats, December to March for snow. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jackson Hole?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
