5 star diving team & experience!

Liz and her team were great. I truly enjoyed my Open Water Refresher course and 2 reef dives. I felt re-educated and ready to scuba. Next, we went to two cenotes. What an amazing experience. One I will never forget. Also, there was a professional photographer that took great pictures and videos that I was able to purchase afterwards. I felt safe with Liz bringing two tanks and briefing/de-briefing after each dive. Highly recommend! Will be back for more dives and certifications.

Highly recommend Jaguar Divers. Awesome diving.

Had the most amazing time with Jaguar divers. Diving in the Cenotes will stay in my memory for a very long time. The whole day was amazing from start to finish. Very well organised. From pick up to sorting out lunch and moving around the Cenotes. Also organised the photography (which I highly recommend ) amazing photos. Highly recommend this diving company if you’re planning any diving around Cancun.

Magical Cenote Experience

I had an awesome visit on July 11, 2026. Price : $189 USD per person On thing I loved about this company before even getting there was the communication on WhatsApp. It was clear , efficient, and quick!!! This is sometimes difficult for dive companies, as they are busy diving !!!! So, I think this speaks volumes to their professionalism. I only had one day to dive and they took us to Chac mool to do two dives. It was STUNNING. I love diving reefs but there is something quite whimsical about a dive master helping you and your dive buddy float through millions of years of history. Seeing the halocline, feeling the halocline, it’s unreal. It was quiet and peaceful unlike large dive groups can be on the reefs. I have about 50 ish dives logged , so I’m not the most experienced. However, I felt completely safe and at ease with Liz. She did a proper weight check and even offered an extra mask for my partner to borrow since his was fogging up. The other dive master went the extra mile and even treated my partner’s mask while we dove so it would be ready for the next trip. After the first dive, Liz and the other dive master offered tips that really helped manage the changes in buoyancy. I still have a lot to learn , but it’s great that I could learn and grow a tad while also enjoying the most magical place !!! Thanks guys !!! Highlights: - great communication - whimsical location , very unique, unreal - knowledgeable, kind, and professional staff NOTE: *not associated with Jaguar Divers*: You can’t bring a GoPro or a camera. If you want pictures, you can buy them from Ivan (60 USD for 1 diver, 100 USD for 2 divers) However, I could not get the shots Ivan got of my partner and I… not with the constant buoyancy changes, my GoPro4, or my skillset. I recommend having him send you a dropbox link on whatsapp since his email sometimes get blocked as spam.

Response from the operator: Hi Naomi thanks for such a long and great review. I really appreciate your time. It was so nice to meet you guy. I hope we get to met again one day

Awesome Dives

Liz, I don’t know how you manage to respond to messages so quickly every single time, but it truly reflects your professionalism, dedication, and commitment to your work. I had many questions before my dives, and Liz answered every one of them patiently and thoroughly. I did two cenote cavern dives with Nico, and he was an awesome guide—highly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. I have more than 200 logged dives and am an SSI Divemaster Pro ID: 108702, so I really appreciate diving with people who pay close attention to every detail. Nico not only has excellent knowledge of cave and cavern diving, but he is also constantly aware of everything happening underwater and keeps a close eye on every diver in his group, making the dives feel both safe and enjoyable. I highly recommend this team for open-water cenote dives, cavern dives, and cave dives. I had an excellent experience with them from start to finish, and I would gladly dive with them again.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much Baktash for you time to write such a great review. So nice to hear your experience with us. We look forward to seeing you again one day

Incredible Diving Experience

I booked my trip a little last minute and Liz was incredibly accommodating with helping me how she could. I went ocean diving and had my first cenote dive with Michael. Everything was amazing, and Micheal knew so much about how the centotes were formed, about the fish and the animals above. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. After not diving for 15 years this was a dream come true… I can’t wait to come again and bring my daughter when she’s old enough.

Response from the operator: Thanks Marianne, so gald you could get back into diving. It will be an amazing activity with your daughter in the future. Hopefully I will also get to dive with you next time

Private Full-Day Cenote Diving Experience 2 Dives with Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Playa del Carmen.

How much does Private Full-Day Cenote Diving Experience 2 Dives with Lunch cost?

+

Prices start at $253 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Playa del Carmen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Full-Day Cenote Diving Experience 2 Dives with Lunch take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Playa del Carmen is not rushed.

Is Private Full-Day Cenote Diving Experience 2 Dives with Lunch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 173 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Playa del Carmen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full-Day Cenote Diving Experience 2 Dives with Lunch?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Full-Day Cenote Diving Experience 2 Dives with Lunch suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Full-Day Cenote Diving Experience 2 Dives with Lunch?

+

Around 61 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Playa del Carmen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Playa del Carmen and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Full-Day Cenote Diving Experience 2 Dives with Lunch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Playa del Carmen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Playa del Carmen?

+

On Outty we rank every Playa del Carmen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include VIP Chichen Itza Private Tour, VIP Tulum Private Tour, Chichen Itza Private Tour VIP. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Playa del Carmen?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
