OW PADI was great

Tom took us through our OW PADI over 2 days. He was patient, engaging and supportive throughout the whole experience. We were concerned it may be a bit formal as, understandably, they have a standard to meet. He was relaxed and we both felt safe to make errors or ask stupid questions. He taught us how to be independent divers rather than just depending on dive masters or instructors to do everything for you. The whole team from the shops and transport to the boat were welcoming and helpful. Had a few issues with equipment breaking or not working. These were fixed within minutes and never caused us any issues. Returned a week later for a shark dive. Due to an office error they didn’t have our booking. Staff were able to phone round and get us a slot with another company. Would recommend to friends and family. Thanks guys!

Great diving experience with Sam

Scuba Libre is a good diving company, Sam our instructor was very knowledgeable. The open water certification was for my wife, and I took a refresher course. There wasn't much visibility in my first dive as the currents were strong, so they took us to a different location for the next dive, which had better visibility. Overall we both enjoyed our second dive. As an open water diver, I wanted to go for better sites, but came to know, those sites are near to Cozumel.

Great Experience Finishing our Padi Open Water Certification Training

We spent a couple days with Jorge completing our Padi Open Water training (pool time and 4 open dives). Jorge was patient with us, gave us some solid straight forward advice and took his time. I found learning from him to be easy. Also, I can tell he cares about safety and for folks to learn the craft. Thank you for such a great experience during our time in Playa del Carmen!

Padi Open Water Course

Me, my son (10 yrs) and daughter (12 yrs) completed the Padi Open Water course with Scuba Libre, at the Sandos Caracol Eco Resort, having first completed the Padi E-Learing. I must admit I was a little apprehensive to start with, but the instructor was amazing from the onset. The level of engagement was pitched perfectly for the kids, enthusiastic and patient, wholly professional. The training dives and fun dives were fabulous. I would highly recommend completing your training with the team at Scuba Libre.

How long does Open Water Diver 2-Day PADI Course in Playa del Carmen take?

Can I cancel or reschedule Open Water Diver 2-Day PADI Course in Playa del Carmen?

+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Playa del Carmen?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
