Take already sweeping views and make them truly panoramic, practically bringing the lush Napa Valley landscape inside through the curved glass windows of our most popular dining car, the Champagne Vista Dome. Executive Chef Rodrigo Cuadra offers an exquisite menu created specifically for this culinary journey. Dine in luxury upstairs while your selections are artfully prepared in the state-of-the-art kitchen below. Crisp linens, gleaming silverware, and sparkling glass served in the exclusive ambiance of our 1952 Pullman full dome railcar. Faithfully restored with Honduran mahogany paneling, brass accents, etched glass partitions, and plush armchairs, the Wine Train evokes the spirit of luxury rail travel in the early 1900s. Since access to the dining area of the Vista Dome Car is limited to guests with reserved seating, this is our most private gourmet dining experience. The Vista Dome is an intimate setting, making it one of our most popular dining experiences.

Disappointed with Dome Napa Valley train ride.
The train is Not a Dome ceiling train. Train is old. The food was too heavy for lunch. Didn't have a chance to taste different wines. They gave us a glass of champagne and a glass of wine they selected. None which I liked, To sample other wines you were charged for a soda it was a $5 charge. Very disappointed with the one wine and the old train.

Napa Train Ride For Lunch
It was a really nice and relaxing experience in the Vista Dome with beautiful scenery and views. Staff was professional and friendly, and food was top notch. Only thing I would say is the bathrooms and speaker system need to be upgraded, and they need to have better climate control because it was cold and the AC was really loud. Other than that, I enjoyed the experience.

Superb
We took this train trip for my husband’s birthday. The train itself is beautiful inside and out. The dome car is very plush and offers excellent views. From the moment we sat down until the time we disembarked our waiter Max was very attentive. The food was superb and the wines were wonderful. Maxx provided many interesting facts about the areas we traveled through and when we asked for a recommendation on wine he did not disappoint! Overall it was a wonderful trip and well worth the money.

Bday train ride
This was a fantastic experience ! Went for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect !! The service , the food , the wine , the views and the train itself was so luxurious . I highly recommend this for anyone !!

Excellent Experience quality customer service
EVERYONE from the front desk ladies, the lady at the snack counter, picture taker, server, and those we encountered boarding and exiting the train were kind, friendly and helpful. Marnie, our server was AMAZING. We had to wait on the track for about an hour due to engine issues, then the rest of the tour was cancelled. Marnie continued to keep us informed and served us our meals and beverages. She even went from table to table checking if there was something we wanted to know more about the tour. She talked about the train and the vineyards we wanted to know more about. After the engine issue the company went out of their way to provide the best customer service possible. I was so impressed with the company's commitment to quality and their customers. The view was wonderful. The food was incredible! High quality, cooked to perfection. It had to be one of the best, most delish meals I have ever had. What a perfect 40th anniversary!
