Do this for a splurge.
Had a lovely day biking and wine tasting in Sonoma. e-bikes were in good condition and easy to use even for those of us who had never been on one before. They nicely "equalize" groups of people who aren't necessarily all at the same level of fitness. Our guide Bruce was great and kind. Loved the wineries and the people who did the tastings there. That being said, between the bike tour, tip and wine tasting, this was BY FAR the most expensive activity of our whole vacation. As mentioned in the description, wine tasting fees are NOT included in the price of this tour. During our ride, we stopped at two wineries and spent an additional $300 at each. (Six adults, one non-drinker/non-taster, 6 pieces of chocolate and two bottles of purchased wine.) Very enjoyable, but would look for a less expensive alternative if we were to do this again.

Wine and bike fun!!
Great bike tour! Saw many beautiful sights of Sonoma and excellent wineries. Lunch was delicious, as was the wine! Definitely recommend the tour. Wonderful day to spend a beautiful day.

Great bike tour through Sonoma
What a wonderful experience biking through Sonoma. Mike our guide was incredible. He was a great storyteller and educator of the vineyards and history on wine in that region. We were a group of 10 and by the end we felt like old friends. Highly recommend this bike tour.

So Much Fun!
This was a perfect way to see Sonoma and enjoy some tasty wines. Our guide, Mike, was well-informed about local history as well as the wine business, had a great sense of humor, and kept us all safe on the road. We appreciated that the route was almost entirely on bike paths or quiet residential streets rather than busy roads. It was our first time riding pedal-assist bikes, and we were pleasantly surprised--they had the feeling of a traditional bike, but the subtle electric boost made the ride nearly effortless. The trip was well-organized, lunch was delicious, and when I somehow picked up a sharp rock in my tire, Mike made a call to the office and a new bike was delivered in about 10 minutes--pretty impressive! I'd definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun, active way to enjoy all Sonoma has to offer.

Why this scores 88
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Napa & Sonoma.
How much does Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $179 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Napa & Sonoma usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Napa & Sonoma is not rushed.
Is Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 169 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Napa & Sonoma, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch?
+
Around 59 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Napa & Sonoma can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Napa & Sonoma and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Napa & Sonoma within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Napa & Sonoma?
+
Napa and Sonoma are all about how a tour is put together: which wineries it can actually book, how many stops, whether lunch and tasting fees are included, and whether it lifts off in a balloon at sunrise. We weight inclusions and transparency heavily in the ranking here. On Outty we rank every Napa & Sonoma experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Napa Valley Small Group Winery Tour, #1 Sonoma Walking Food, Wine Tasting & History Tour (Public Tour), Sonoma County Wine Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Napa & Sonoma?
+
March to May and September to November, with harvest crush in September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Napa & Sonoma?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
