All I can say is fantastic!!!
I cannot say enough about my experience with this service, everything was perfect, my interaction with staff was limited to Ruby and Russell, both were fantastic. I know Russell is newer to the company so it is my hope the owners know that they have a great employee, my wife and I were so impressed with our experience!!!

Best intro to Sonoma
This was our first trip to Sonoma and one we will never forget thanks to the best intro from Bohemian Highway Travel Co. Allyson put together a fab itinerary for us super last minute. We are particularly interested in biodynamic and natural wine processes and ended up at some wonderful places. They felt like wineries we wouldn't have found ourselves and were truly enjoyable settings to taste in. Nigel was such a lovely tour guide on the day, super knowledgable about the local area and so friendly to chat to. They were even willing to pick us up from our home in the city. The company has a great story and you can tell from their level of service and hospitality that this is a true labor of love. We can't wait to tour more places with them in future and try some of their other experiences out either as a couple or together with some of our friends.

Sonoma visit
This was my 4th time to wine county, second to Sonoma and first to go through a personalized travel company. Mariah worked closely with me to plan our trip and was extremely responsive to any and all my questions. Jack (our tour guide) picked us up promptly and was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed very personal and specialized visits with vineyard staff and wine owners that we would not have had otherwise. We loved it and will definitely use this service again!

Best Day Ever in Sonoma
The entire experience could not have been better! The concierge we worked with, Mariah, was incredibly attentive and great to work with leading up to the trip. She helped us customize a day based on our interests and desire to see some of the Valley's hidden gems. She also provided great local restaurant recommendations since it was our first time in the area. On the day of the tour, our driver Jess picked us up in an awesome Land Rover Defender - much better than a limo to shuttle around Wine Country. Jess was amazing, and is a wine maker himself so he had great knowledge of the overall process. We got to taste his wine and walk a vineyard with him, and it was such an immersive experience. The team picked some absolutely perfect spots for us (top of the list was Beltane Ranch - if you get the chance you have to go!). Jess also provided some great suggestions of places to check out for the remainder of our stay in Sonoma County. We are already looking forward to returning to Sonoma and we would definitely use Bohemian Highway again! Highly recommend!

Fantastic day with BHTC!
Well orchestrated. Nigel was prompt & amiable. Both vineyards selections were unique (whether the caves, or an ATV ride to the top of the vineyard for tasting, etc) and offered some nice wine selections / tastings. Our group ordered a ton. Organized a wonderful open air lunch in between vineyards. Recommended.

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sonoma Wine Tour - Private Access to Small Wineries: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Napa & Sonoma.
How much does Sonoma Wine Tour - Private Access to Small Wineries cost?
+
Prices start at $449 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Napa & Sonoma usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sonoma Wine Tour - Private Access to Small Wineries take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Napa & Sonoma is not rushed.
Is Sonoma Wine Tour - Private Access to Small Wineries worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Napa & Sonoma, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sonoma Wine Tour - Private Access to Small Wineries?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sonoma Wine Tour - Private Access to Small Wineries suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sonoma Wine Tour - Private Access to Small Wineries?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Napa & Sonoma can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Napa & Sonoma and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sonoma Wine Tour - Private Access to Small Wineries start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Napa & Sonoma within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Napa & Sonoma?
+
Napa and Sonoma are all about how a tour is put together: which wineries it can actually book, how many stops, whether lunch and tasting fees are included, and whether it lifts off in a balloon at sunrise. We weight inclusions and transparency heavily in the ranking here. On Outty we rank every Napa & Sonoma experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Napa Valley Small Group Winery Tour, #1 Sonoma Walking Food, Wine Tasting & History Tour (Public Tour), Sonoma Valley Pedal Assist Bike Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Napa & Sonoma?
+
March to May and September to November, with harvest crush in September. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Napa & Sonoma?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
