21st yah hoo!
Certainly different from what we were thinking ! This is not a cocktail making event you have to take your own spirit ( ensure it’s a SEALED Bottle) and the bar man discusses with you what you may like as a mixer to make a cocktail. I was looking forward to making one so slightly disappointed. You are then immersed in a western themed play. You need to get into character to properly enjoy this . Hats and poncho are provided. The actors were good and kept in character and there was a story line threaded throughout of moonshine and drink smuggling. The downside is there is Not enough time to drink the cocktails and properly enjoy them . We were made 3 Large cocktails each and by the time the last one was delivered to our table we were being ushered out by a big burly security guy! You do get your spirit bottle back empty or not however, I felt they should adjust the timing of this experience so you at least have time to enjoy them. This was a 21st birthday experience for our daughter she had fun so that was the main thing. Recommend eating before too!!!!

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience I honestly expected so much more from Moonshine Saloon, especially given the price and the way the experience is advertised. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the whole experience felt more like getting people through quickly than providing the fun, immersive experience we had paid for. There was also a lot of shouting across the room, which I found really off-putting. Rather than feeling immersed in the experience, it often felt loud, chaotic and rushed. One of the biggest issues for me personally was that I don’t drink alcohol. This was made clear, yet I was repeatedly brought alcoholic drinks and had to remind the staff several times that I don’t drink. I really shouldn’t have had to keep repeating this, particularly when drinks are such a central part of the experience. The concept itself is fun and the venue has potential, but unfortunately the execution was poor. We felt rushed, the service was disappointing and, for the price we paid, I expected a much better experience. Sadly, I left feeling that it simply wasn’t worth the money and I wouldn’t return or recommend it based on my experience. Honestly, I’d rather go for a walk in the park with friends than spend the money on Moonshine Saloon again. At least I’d be able to enjoy myself without being shouted at! 😂

Do NOT waste your money!
Very disappointing. The experience was confusing from the start. The actors were often shouting, yet it was still difficult to understand what they were saying, so it was hard to follow what was actually happening. Groups of people were repeatedly taken into different rooms, but there was little explanation as to why or what we were supposed to be doing. Some audience members were apparently selected to be part of the show, but there was no clear guidance about how people were chosen or what their role was supposed to be. Rather than feeling immersive, it just felt disorganised and confusing. To make matters worse, at the end we were effectively thrown out before we'd even finished our drinks. We weren't the only ones left confused either - we overheard several other people asking each other "what was that all about?". For the price, I expected something much more polished, engaging and coherent. Unfortunately the whole experience felt chaotic, unclear and poorly organised. Definitely not worth the money.

boring non interactive western
i would not recommend this interactive western experience. it is over priced, had no idea what was really happening, just lots of shouting and speaking in really bad american accents. between 4 of us we paid £200! it wouldn’t have cost that much for us to go to a really nice cocktail bar. at the end i was trying to finish my drink (with the alcohol we provided) and they literally kick us out! waste of money and time! avoid! Found the whole experience boring, and lots of others were saying the same thing.

Hats off for the drama, suspense, and cocktails!
Amazing experience here at Moonshine Saloon. I booked my tickets for my husband and me through Fever and had a painless check in. The instructions given prior were simple: bring your own booze, recommended 35cl for 2 people, and the address. The experience begins right away with a story line. We had an amazing time being immersed in the world of Coldwater, Kansas as we watched a soap opera’s worth of drama unfold between the town sheriff, the saloon’s wife and owner, and the other characters. The bartenders were great! They come around in the beginning as you are settling in to inquire about any allergies and cocktail preferences. We each received 3 amazing cocktails during the experience. Each table also has some cards/dice to play with in between the scenes. As a bonus perhaps, a house cocktail was included and even this was incorporated into the storyline! Overall a great experience in an atmospheric saloon with some truly talented actors who, by the way, seemed to always stay in character. Bravo!

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Moonshine Saloon: Western Cocktail Experience in London: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Moonshine Saloon: Western Cocktail Experience in London cost?
+
Prices start at $47 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Moonshine Saloon: Western Cocktail Experience in London take?
+
Plan for about 1.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Moonshine Saloon: Western Cocktail Experience in London worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 57 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Moonshine Saloon: Western Cocktail Experience in London?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Moonshine Saloon: Western Cocktail Experience in London suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Moonshine Saloon: Western Cocktail Experience in London?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 1.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Moonshine Saloon: Western Cocktail Experience in London start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
