Amazing Experience with World Himalaya Tours – Highly Recommended!
My friend and I booked the Manaslu Circuit Trek with World Himalaya Tours, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable adventures we’ve ever had. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized and handled with great care. Our guide Raj Kumar Adhikari and porter Khadga Bahadur Bhatta were incredibly kind, attentive, and patient. They answered all our (many!) questions, always chose wonderful tea houses for us, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. Their warm and thoughtful support made the trek even more special. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected snowstorm, we had to end the trek earlier than planned. But even then, the team went above and beyond: we were invited to stay for a few days at Thakur’s farm. This unexpected experience allowed us to discover another, beautiful side of Nepali life and hospitality. It was truly heartwarming and something we will never forget. We can wholeheartedly recommend World Himalaya Tours to anyone looking for a well-organized, authentic, and unforgettable trekking experience. We’d definitely book with them again!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the Manaslu Circuit Trek with our team. Raj Kumar and Khadga truly appreciate your kind words. We’re glad we could take care of you during the snowstorm and that you enjoyed the warm hospitality at our farm. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Nepal for another unforgettable adventure!

Well-Organized Circuit Trek with Exceptional Guides
Did the circuit trek with my friend, guided by Raj Kumar Adhikari and Khadga Bahadur Bhatta as our guide and porter. We had two unforgettable, fun-filled weeks together! Raj and Khadga gave us a truly unique experience — they spoiled us from start to finish, always accommodating our wishes (like finding less crowded tea houses) and staying flexible, professional, and incredibly friendly throughout. They even went out of their way to make my birthday on the trek extra special, which was such a sweet surprise and something I’ll never forget. We also sure miss our daily card games together! Even when we had to make the tough decision to turn around due to heavy snowfall on the pass, they handled everything perfectly — offering great alternatives and ensuring we returned safely to the city. A big thank-you also to Thakur Dhital for the superb planning and organization. We’ll gladly book again and are already excited for our next EBC trek. See you soon!

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Manaslu Trekking: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Manaslu Trekking cost?
+
Prices start at $1700 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Manaslu Trekking take?
+
Plan for about 408 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Manaslu Trekking worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Manaslu Trekking?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Manaslu Trekking suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 408-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Manaslu Trekking?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 408-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Manaslu Trekking start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
