Great trekking in Manaslu
We absolutely loved the trek! It’s both challenging and unique. Our guide Raj and porter Bishal made us feel comfortable and relaxed at every stage of the trek. They were always positive and supportive. Raj made recommendations to adjust the plan to fully fit our needs, for example by moving acclimatisation day to a more pleasant village with beautiful hiking options. Manaslu trek was the first high altitude trekking for us and it exceeded our expectations, especially with such professional staff and the supporting administration. Thank you!
Response from the operator: Dear Lina, Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience. We are delighted to hear that you loved the Manaslu Trek and that Raj and Bishal helped make your journey comfortable and enjoyable. We truly appreciate your kind words about their support, flexibility, and professionalism. We are happy they could adapt the itinerary to match your needs and make your first high-altitude trek a memorable one. Thank you for choosing Adventure Bound. We hope to welcome you again for another adventure in Nepal. Warm regards, Adventure Bound Nepal Team

Beautiful Manaslu circuit with excellent guide
We had a wonderful time on the Manaslu Circuit trek in April 2026. The landscapes were amazing and changed day to day - 100% recommend the trek! What made the tour particularly enjoyable were the efforts of our Adventure Bound guide Santosh. He was kind and helpful, always positive, and brought us to great tea houses (even in Dharmshala!) and lunch spots. We had a lot of fun learning to play Dhumbal with Santosh in the (quite cold!) evenings. Thank you for a brilliant trip and we look forward to more treks with you in the future.
Response from the operator: Dear Camilla, Thank you for your wonderful review. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the Manaslu Circuit and the changing landscapes throughout the journey. We truly appreciate your kind words about Santosh. His care, positive attitude, and local knowledge are exactly what make a trek special, and we will be happy to share your message with him. Thank you for choosing Adventure Bound. We look forward to welcoming you back for more adventures in Nepal. Warm regards, Adventure Bound Nepal Team

Unforgettable hiking experience! I can only recommend this to anyone who loves the mountains!!
This hike was one of the most wonderful things I’ve ever had the chance to do! I had a brilliant time every single day and enjoyed every moment of it! The Himalayas never ceased to fascinate me! The moment I first saw an 8,000-metre peak was also absolutely stunning! I’d also like to say a huge thank you to Santosh and the porters, who made this trek what it was!
Response from the operator: Dear Finn, Thank you for your amazing review. We are thrilled to hear that your Himalayan adventure was such a memorable experience and that you enjoyed every moment of the trek. A big thank you for your kind words about Santosh and our porters. We are happy they could make your journey comfortable and special. We hope to welcome you and your family back to Nepal for more mountain adventures in the future. Warm regards, Adventure Bound Nepal Team

Unforgettable trek thanks to Rabin an Sanu
We completed the Manaslu Circuit & Tsum Valley and I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The landscapes were stunning and incredibly varied, but what truly made the journey special were the two people who guided and supported us along the way. Our guide Rabin did a really good job. He led us safely through every section of the trek, including the long climb to Manaslu Base Camp and the Larke Pass. One of the things I valued most was how well-connected Rabin is along the route. He knows the lodges extremely well and always managed to organize the best possible rooms for us. Thanks to his network, we consistently had comfortable places to stay. His flexibility was also outstanding – he was always open to adapting the plan whenever needed. A huge part of our wonderful experience was thanks to our porter Sanu! He carried most of our luggage with constant kindness and a smile. Knowing he had our bags made the trek so much easier and allowed us to fully enjoy the journey. Without him, the experience would have been only half as good. Rabin and Sanu were truly the perfect team. Thanks to them, this trek became an unforgettable adventure. I can recommend them both.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review. We’re very happy to hear that your Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley trek became an unforgettable experience. The diversity of landscapes in this region is truly special, and it’s great to know you were able to fully enjoy it thanks to the strong support on the trail. Rabin’s experience, local connections, and flexibility are qualities we value highly, and we’re glad they helped make your journey smoother and more comfortable, especially with accommodation and itinerary adjustments. Sanu’s hard work, kindness, and positive attitude also play a huge role in making long treks easier, and we’re proud of the team they formed together. Thank you for the recommendation and for trusting Adventure Bound with your adventure. We hope to welcome you back to Nepal again in the future.

Unforgettable Manaslu & Tsum Valley Trek with an amazing team
We did the Manaslu Circuit & Tsum Valley trekking tour as a couple, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! We especially loved the incredibly diverse landscapes – from lush valleys to high alpine scenery. Every day offered something new and beautiful. A huge thank-you goes to our amazing guide Rabin! He led us safely throughout the entire trek, including the hike to Manaslu Base Camp and the crossing of the Larke Pass. Adjustments in the itinerary were always possible – Rabin was incredibly flexible and always found the best option for us. He was not only our guide on the trail but also our “culinary guide”, making sure we always had delicious food and more than enough to eat. Spending time with him was fun, full of good conversations and genuine kindness. And of course, we must mention our porter Sanu! Without him, the journey would have been only half as wonderful. For 18 days he carried a large part of our luggage and made the entire trek so much easier for us. We can highly recommend this tour – and especially this fantastic team. It was an unforgettable adventure for us!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that your Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley trek was such a memorable journey. It’s great to know that the changing landscapes, Rabin’s flexible and attentive guidance, and Sanu’s strong support made the trek comfortable and enjoyable throughout. Thank you for the recommendation and for trekking with Adventure Bound.

Manaslu Circuit Trekking: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Manaslu Circuit Trekking cost?
+
Prices start at $1,299 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Manaslu Circuit Trekking take?
+
Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Manaslu Circuit Trekking worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 57 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Manaslu Circuit Trekking?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Manaslu Circuit Trekking suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 288-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Manaslu Circuit Trekking?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Manaslu Circuit Trekking start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
