About this experience

Crossing Larke La pass, 5213 m on snow is a test of stamina. The scenery is outstanding with major peaks on all sides: Himal Chuli, Manaslu, Cheo Himal and Himlung Himal. These mountain peaks tower above us as we descend from alpine into tropical areas, bursting with ferns, bamboo, waterfalls and blue-green lakes bordered by white beaches. At last we reach the heavily forested valley of the Marsyangdi River until we meet up with the popular Annapurna Circuit trail. From here on we will meet other trekkers enjoying the fantastic views of the Annapurna range. This three-week trek around the Manaslu Circuit will leave you with a sense of awe and respect for the cultural and ecological wonders of Nepal.

Manaslu Circuit Treking

This was my first time trekking in Nepal and I had no clue what to expect. But with Apsara as my guide, I felt totally safe and comfortable the whole time. She really gets first-timers like me, so I was fine walking, hiking, and trekking through any weather, uphill, downhill, and even those crazy suspension bridges 😅 The tea houses were great too. The meals, rooms, toilets, everything basic I needed was clean and available, so I felt comfortable during the whole stay. Big thanks to our porter (Tjitra) too for helping me along the way. I’d definitely recommend your service to any friends who want to trek in Nepal. And I’m already thinking about booking another trek package. I’ve totally fallen in love with the mountains here. This trip will be a memory I’ll never forget. And also I want to thank to Ghima and his wife who help me preparing the trip and apparels during my trek and also their hospitality during our stay in Nepal.

Response from the operator: Dear Winda, Namaste and Warm Greetings from Nepal, Thank you very much for your trust and for writing kind words about our local company. It is always our objective to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for our guests. Best Wishes, Annapurna Foothills Family

The Amazing Manaslu Circuit Trekking with Annapurnafoothills

This is my third trip to Nepal with Annapurna Foothills. This time I chose the Manaslu Circuit Trekking package. I went with my friend Winda. For Winda, this was her first experience trekking in Nepal. So it was natural that she was a little anxious, even though she was more excited. We were very lucky and grateful because Ngima gave us a female guide, Apsara. Apsara worked very well, she was very disciplined but understood both of our limitations. So we both really enjoyed this trip. Manaslu Circuit is indeed as beautiful as described by people who have been through this track. The path is clean, the environment is still very natural, except at the beginning because it is under construction. The tea house is also pleasant. The price offered is also reasonable. And Cithra who carried our daily luggage was also very polite and did a good job. In the end, he became our photographer 😂. Thank you Annapurna Foothills, Ngima for giving us a pleasant experience.

Response from the operator: Dear Suzanna, Namaste and Warm Greetings from Nepal, Thank you very much for your trust and for writing kind words about our local company. It is always our objective to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for our guests. Best Wishes, Annapurna Foothills Family

Annapurna foothills - an amazing experience.

My partner and I did the Manaslu trek in October 2025. We had Jungmu as our amazing guide and were greeted by both Jangmu and Annapurna base camps owner Nima at our hotel to go over the plan and details before the trip. Both l Jangmu and Nima are incredibly kind and informative and Jangmu was an unbelievably good guide. I couldn’t recommend the company for the team enough. Thanks a million and see you again soon. The trek itself was stunning. We had difficult weather about halfway through the trek but Jangmu managed this amazingly and we still managed to cross Larke pass safely.

Response from the operator: Dear Jarrod, Namaste and Warm Greetings from Nepal, Thank you very much for your trust and for writing kind words about our local company. It is always our objective to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for our guests. Best Wishes, Annapurna Foothills Family

Amazing !!!

I can't speak highly enough of Ngima and Jangbu for making such a memorable trip so seamless. From the warm welcome at the airport from Ngima to Jangu going above and beyond when I got sick , it really was an incredible trip. You made two old high school friends incredibly happy and can't wait to come back for another trip

Response from the operator: Dear Chris, Greetings, Thank you very much for your wonderful words. We really appreciate it. We look forward to welcoming you guys to Nepal very soon. Regards, Annapurna Foothills Family

Manaslu Circuit Trekking - 17 Days: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Manaslu Circuit Trekking - 17 Days cost?

+

Prices start at $1600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Manaslu Circuit Trekking - 17 Days take?

+

Plan for about 408 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Manaslu Circuit Trekking - 17 Days worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Manaslu Circuit Trekking - 17 Days?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Manaslu Circuit Trekking - 17 Days suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 408-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Manaslu Circuit Trekking - 17 Days?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 408-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Manaslu Circuit Trekking - 17 Days start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
