The best experience a person could have to see the sights of London.
Our day with James was amazing. He had such a depth of knowledge it made the whole day sensational. I had meant to book a hop-on, hop-off bus, but booked the walking tour in error. The best mistake I could have made. I have been raving about it to everyone. A fantastic, interesting and unforgettable experience. 'Highly recommended' doesn't cover how good the experience actually was. Thank you, James.
Response from the operator: Dear Viv, It was our pleasure to look after both of you. We are so glad that despite originally wanting a bus tour we were able to add value to your holiday! Feel free to recommend us to any of the friends you have been telling about us. All best wishes,

Changing of the guard
James was great, wonderful experience. Best decision we've made yet to see the sites
Response from the operator: Dear Brandon, Thank you for your kind words. It really was our pleasure to look after both of you. Feel free to reach out if we can be of any further assistance. All the very best,

Great Experience
I took this tour with James and it was absolutely amazing! Being a tour guide and a comedian myself, I was really impressed by how James combined history with a very refined sense of humour. His knowledge is outstanding. What I particularly appreciated was James' natural ability to deliver historical facts and events in an immersive, storytelling manner. By doing so, he creates a vivid picture in your head of each historical event, which makes them easy to remember. He also sprinkles in the odd piece of trivia here and there, which only enhances the overall experience. He even carries a tablet to show how particular historical buildings or attractions have changed over time. James also paced the tour so well that we even managed to catch a glimpse of the Nigerian president’s motorcade during his visit to London and hear the chimes of Big Ben. My favourite part was the story about the astronomical clock featuring Winston Churchill’s face—it’s really funny, so if you are in London and want to find out more, grab your tickets for James’ tour! Thanks to James, I expanded my existing knowledge of this wonderful city. On top of that, we were really lucky with the weather, as it was sunny 🌞😎 all day. Overall, I had an amazing day! Here are a few pictures."
Response from the operator: Dear Ales, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with you!

Great introduction to London with an extremely knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended!
James was an awesome guide! His depth of knowledge about London, the monarchy, the architecture, and the history of the UK made for an engaging and educational tour. As it turns out, our family ended up having a private tour. James tailored the day to fit our families needs and preferences. He was very thoughtful in the way he went about things. He also brought a fun sense of humor to the day. A really top-notch experience, highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Dear David, It was a pleasure to meet you, and your family. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! In a situation where we only have a single group booked we delight in tailoring our tour even more than normal to reflect your interests. Feel free to recommend us to your friends, but don’t promise them that they will see part of a State Visit too! All best wishes.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
London Royal Landmarks Walking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does London Royal Landmarks Walking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does London Royal Landmarks Walking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is London Royal Landmarks Walking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule London Royal Landmarks Walking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is London Royal Landmarks Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book London Royal Landmarks Walking Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does London Royal Landmarks Walking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
