Unprofessional no show guide. Wasted time.
We were so looking forward to this. I was singing every night at evensong @ Saint Paul’s Cathedral and had to be there every day by 3:00 pm so all our tours were in the morning. This was our last one and the one that meant the most to my husband. Naomi, the guide had corresponded with me the day before regarding the tour and I left it with looking forward to seeing you in the morning. We took a 20 min cab ride from Saint Paul’s and stood in the agreed upon spot for 30 min in the freezing cold. Naomi never showed. I sent about 6 messages to her via the app and no response. I finally figured out how to contact Viator to figure out what to do next. They were also unable to get a hold of her and told me our only option was to get a refund.. and so we asked for that. Since we were already in the neighborhood, we had to just figure it out for ourselves and walk around about an hour later I get a message from Naomi saying she had been ill the night before and SLEPT IN… and would we like a refund or take a tour a little bit later. Shocking I couldn’t believe the level of unprofessionalism. I don’t know how she didn’t think to contact her company or another tour guide or us to let us know that she was going to be sick or not showing up.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. Once again I am so sorry that I inconvenienced you and the tour did not go ahead as planned due to unforseen health reasons. You will be receiving a refund. Please accept my sincere apologies.

Naomi was a fantastic...
Naomi was a fantastic guide. It was about 90F in London that afternoon but that did not dim her enthusiasm for British rock history and the significant areas that we toured. She was also able to share some historical facts about Soho, Carnaby street and other areas that were seen during the tour. We really enjoyed our time with her.
Response from the operator: Hi Kathleen, it was lovely to meet you both. Thank you for your great review and I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour, please do come back soon. Many thanks Naomi

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
London Rocks! Private Music Walking Tour in Soho 2hrs: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does London Rocks! Private Music Walking Tour in Soho 2hrs cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does London Rocks! Private Music Walking Tour in Soho 2hrs take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is London Rocks! Private Music Walking Tour in Soho 2hrs worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule London Rocks! Private Music Walking Tour in Soho 2hrs?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is London Rocks! Private Music Walking Tour in Soho 2hrs suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book London Rocks! Private Music Walking Tour in Soho 2hrs?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does London Rocks! Private Music Walking Tour in Soho 2hrs start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
