Most memorable trip to Angkor

This is an amazing tour. Chopin Sophat was our tour guide and Dinna was our driver. They are the best of our 6 day travel in Cambodia. Sophat is very knowledgeable on nearly all the subjects we were interested, including the history, the culture, the modern day life’s, the nature and all kinds of things in Cambodia, and not just limited to where we went. Khai Spean is very unique, which you cannot find in other parts of Siem Reap. Bandeay Srei is one of the most significant temples. Banteay Samre is another beautiful temple to see. They both have taken really good care of us. The cold water and lemongrass fragranced cold towel after each site and hiking was very refreshing. They drove with safety and cautions. We were comfortable all the way. We highly recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had an amazing experience with Chopin Sophat and Dinna during your 6-day journey in Cambodia. It’s great to know that Sophat's knowledge of history, culture, and modern life added depth to your tour, and that you found the unique sites like Khai Spean and the significant temples of Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre to be highlights of your trip. We're also glad that the refreshments and the safe driving contributed to your comfort. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you back for more adventures in the future! Recommended!

Nice hike up to the waterfall over rocky paths with some flat and a little elevation. The waterfall is really nice to see. Banteay Srei is fantastic, with very nice carvings and Banteay Samre was very pretty and special. It was quieter than many of the other ruins. The tour guide was helpful and good humored and told some interesting stories about life in Cambodia.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience! It's wonderful to hear that you had an excellent time. We are thrilled to hear that Tour guide is amazing, being both friendly and knowledgeable, passion for his job and sharing information about their country and its history must have made the tour even more engaging. Your recommendation of this experience to others speaks volumes about the quality of the tour. Thank you for taking the time to share your positive review! Best regards Angkor Doors Team

Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre temple: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre temple cost?

+

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre temple take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre temple worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre temple?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre temple suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre temple?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre temple start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
