Fun day sailing
It was a good activity and lots of fun. There was plenty of drinks. The crew members were great. However, I was surprised to learn from one of the crew members, once we went snorkeling that only children 10 and older are allowed to go snorkel. The activity is listed as 0-99 yrs old. This was a bug issue for me since I booked this for my three children ages 6 and 9. I was able to talk to the crew member and he allowed my twin 9 year olds to go with their father. However, I had to stay behind with my 6 year old who can swim. She was disappointed and I was not pleased either since this was not noted when booking.

Subpar
Good for a younger crowd just wanting to drink bad cocktails and subpar beer. The food was garbage. Boarding and disembarkation was a complete mess.

Very pleasant.
The service was always very friendly, they responded quickly to messages and resolved all my doubts. At first, I hesitated a bit to book since they required a deposit, I did it and there was no problem at all; they picked me up at the hotel to take us to the dock where we took the boat; the tour was from about 11 am to 6 pm, Isla Mujeres is beautiful, we did all the activities planned in the tour, and upon return, the transport was already waiting to take us back to the hotel. Everything went very well, I definitely recommend it 10/10.

Don't hesitate and travel with them!
Without a doubt, it is an excellent decision to travel with these tours. Everything is very organized; you can relax without worrying about anything else, the food is very good, and the places visited are the best. Tania helped me resolve all my doubts. We had an excellent day in Isla Mujeres. Great atmosphere.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour with Snorkeling, Open Bar & Buffet: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour with Snorkeling, Open Bar & Buffet cost?
+
Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour with Snorkeling, Open Bar & Buffet take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour with Snorkeling, Open Bar & Buffet worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour with Snorkeling, Open Bar & Buffet?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour with Snorkeling, Open Bar & Buffet suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour with Snorkeling, Open Bar & Buffet?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour with Snorkeling, Open Bar & Buffet start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
