    Terrible experience and tour.

Bad experience; first, there was a 30-minute delay because we waited for some passengers who were late. Later, at the beach club, there was a tour with carts for the people who had purchased, but they arrived late again, and we had to wait a bit longer to go to the center of Isla Mujeres. Once in the center of Isla Mujeres, we were told we had 1 hour, leaving at 7, with a tolerance of 10 minutes. We had an incident and arrived at 7:04 to board, and it turns out that the boat called Amazona had already left; it wasn't even in sight, meaning it left at 6:50, not even at 7:00 PM. I had to pay for the return ferry with my family and a small baby. I do not recommend this tour at all due to the lack of seriousness and respect. Attached is a photo of the ferry ticket purchase at 7:08, meaning she started the purchase at 7:05. I insist that if it is said that there is a 10-minute tolerance, it must be respected; what a lack of word for the tour.

    Bad management good crew

The operator has an age limit 60 yrs for the snorkeling event - this was not communicated until we were already on board and we were denied the opportunity to snorkel. Other tours that we considered clearly state the operators age policy in the listing. Viator did not support us in our claim. The folks who did snorkel complained that it the time was short - 20 min. The beach at their private beach club and water activities were not good compared to other beach clubs that we have visited. However the food drinks and service were great.

Response from the operator: Hello 😊 Thank you so much for sharing your feedback, and we’re truly sorry for any inconvenience you experienced during your tour. Our main priority is always the safety and well-being of our guests, which is why we follow the Harbor Captain’s regulations that establish age limits for snorkeling activities — especially when sea conditions can be unpredictable. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the food, drinks, and friendly service. Our team works hard every day to provide an experience filled with beautiful scenery, crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed atmosphere — perfect for families, couples, and groups of friends alike. We would love to welcome you back soon so you can enjoy the full experience and create unforgettable memories with us. 🌴✨ Thank you for choosing and trusting

    A great day out

I did this trip last week, loved it. The team were all so attentive and took care of everyone. The snorkelling was good, the north beach in Isla mujeres is beyond beautiful and then the buggy trip round the island was great fun. A great day

    Spectacular day in Isla Mujeres

This tour was one of the best decisions we made on our trip. Since we got on the catamaran, the atmosphere was amazing: good music, drinks, and a super friendly team that did everything to make us have a good time. The journey to Isla Mujeres was beautiful, with turquoise waters and dreamy views. We stopped for a snorkel and it was a wonderful experience, the water was clear and we saw many fish. Upon arriving to the island, we had time to walk, relax on the beach and enjoy the place without rush. The beach club where we ate had good food and a comfortable space to rest. Everything was very well organized and the team was always watching us. If you are in Cancun and want a different, fun and all-inclusive day, this tour is 100% recommended. I would repeat it without hesitation.

Isla Mujeres : Catamaran with Free Bar, Snorkeling, Food and Everything: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Isla Mujeres : Catamaran with Free Bar, Snorkeling, Food and Everything cost?

    +

Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Isla Mujeres : Catamaran with Free Bar, Snorkeling, Food and Everything take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Isla Mujeres : Catamaran with Free Bar, Snorkeling, Food and Everything worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Isla Mujeres : Catamaran with Free Bar, Snorkeling, Food and Everything?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Isla Mujeres : Catamaran with Free Bar, Snorkeling, Food and Everything suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Isla Mujeres : Catamaran with Free Bar, Snorkeling, Food and Everything?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Isla Mujeres : Catamaran with Free Bar, Snorkeling, Food and Everything start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
