    Greatful Experience

It's always great to acknowledge the effort of those who made our trip experience extra special . Gratitude and appreciation to kisan sir who live in America and continue his travel agency . I am from Kathmandu and I have never being in a trek . Me and my family had a holiday and the highlight of our trip was Ghorepani and witnessing the mesmerizing sunrise over the annnapurna range . likewise looking so much on internet we found most reviews on MOUNT FACE NEPAL trek in reasonable price .Our trip was absolutely incredible! From the moment we started trekking from Nayapul, we were captivated by the stunning landscapes and the warmth of the locals. The trail was challenging at times, but the breathtaking views made it all worthwhile. Our guide, he was amazing. he had extensive knowledge of the area and ensured our safety throughout the journey . We were grateful for his hospitality ,guidance and expertise. He explained everything so clearly about culture , food , heritage knowledge about area.he was so respectful and friendly. Our guide played crucial role in making our trip memorable and enjoyable. In my point of view if you like to explore and make your trip adventure extra special and memorable. By sharing my personal experience I would like to highly recommend ( MOUNT FACE NEPAL TREK ) for any one seeking for unforgettable experience !! .

Response from the operator: We are glad that you had wonderful experiences. Thank you so much for connecting with us. Best wishes ahead .

The Best experience of my life

Unforgetable experience! the landscapes of the trekking are amazing. The great guide, attentive at all times to any unforeseen event. Cheerful, with a lot of wisdom on the mountain. He made us feel at home. We practiced yoga in the morning and in the afternoon, it was brutal! 100% recommended. I will repeat any trekking with the same guide because I am left wanting more.

    Disappointed

I am posting this very late but I have just come across my previous communication with the company which reminded me that I had forgotten to review. I did so much research before our trip, we travel a lot and understand the importance of choosing the right company to make the experience perfect but also to ensure that the company support the local community. Kisan and the company had such good reviews and we're also personally recommended by a friend that we chose them. Right up until the day before the trip Kisan said that he would be our guide, we looked forward to learning so much from him as such an experienced guide. At the last minute he was unable to take us and we were sent with another guide. The guide we were sent instead was very nice, he was pleasant and helpful but it quickly became clear that he lacked the confidence and experience to bring the trip alive for us. We saw other guides chatting with their clients and pointing out interesting things. Our guide spent most of the time just chatting in Nepali with the porter and playing music on their phones, he often ignored us for hours at a time. We tried to engage him in conversation, he would answer our questions but then go back to chatting with the porter. We felt that we missed out on learning about Nepali culture and nature. We wanted to hear about the locals who greeted us and find out the history behind the villages we were passing through,we know how a good guide makes a trip. We suspected that he was more used to being a second guide or a porter rather than the main guide. When we got back to Kathmandu this was confirmed by a quick check on TripAdvisor in which our guide was mentioned several times as a secondary guide or porter but never as the main guide. I challenged this with the company, I didn't expect anything and knew it wouldn't change anything but hoped they would perhaps just apologise and learn from my feedback. Messages went back and forth in which I was told he was a qualified guide, I asked several times how much experience he'd had but the question was avoided. This reaction was really disappointing, after a long exchange of messages I got some kind of apology but it was really too late and left a sour taste to be honest. I'm sure that with one of the more experienced guides we would have had a different experience, as most other customers have, but we can only go on our experience. These types of holidays are once in a lifetime and I'm afraid that we felt that ours was a bit of a missed opportunity to be blown away by the beauty and culture.

    Trekking in Nepal

It was my solo trip and I'm beyond thankful that I get Amir as my recommended organizer as I went home safely and enjoyed my trekking trip. Everything was arranged according to the request and Sumir was being excellent as my guide. I would recommend Amir and his company for ur trip to Nepal, as they are being attentive and quick-witted (very important 😅); and would try to fulfill ur request.

Ghorepani Poonhill Sunrise trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.

How much does Ghorepani Poonhill Sunrise trek cost?

    +

Prices start at $815 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ghorepani Poonhill Sunrise trek take?

    +

Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.

Is Ghorepani Poonhill Sunrise trek worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ghorepani Poonhill Sunrise trek?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Ghorepani Poonhill Sunrise trek suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Ghorepani Poonhill Sunrise trek?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ghorepani Poonhill Sunrise trek start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pokhara?

    +

On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pokhara?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pokhara?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
