    Seamless, Stress-Free, and So Memorable

I had the best experience trekking with this company! Everything was so well organized thanks to Dipak, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. From accommodations in the city and up in the mountains, to food, transportation, and even all the little details, everything was taken care of. My guide Jit was 10/10 - so patient, always making sure I was comfortable, had so much fun and even helped me kill the bugs in my room (thank you! 😂). I had the best time and would definitely recommend them 100%. One of the smoothest and most memorable trips I’ve ever had.

    Annapurna Base Camp

I recently completed a 10-day trek to Annapurna Base Camp with Mountain Rock Treks, and the experience was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make everything seamless and enjoyable. Before the trek, Dipak was extremely helpful in assisting me with anything I needed, ensuring I was well-prepared. My guide, Dawa, was outstanding—his expertise, patience, and kindness made the trek even more special. He even took time out of his own schedule to help me shop for gear, which was greatly appreciated. Our porters, Aku and Sudip, were equally amazing—always kind, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the journey. All our tea houses were of the highest standard and were pre-arranged, making the experience comfortable and stress-free. I did the trek with a group of four, and we bonded well, making the journey even more enjoyable. I cannot recommend Mountain Rock Treks highly enough. If you’re considering a trek in Nepal, this is the company to go with!

    Amazing Safe Fun

Since I was a kid I have wanted to go on an adventure such as this. This has been the best suggestion I have received during my travels. I was nervous at first but honestly I felt safe and secure the entire time! From getting picked up at the airport to making sure I had food and was feeling well throughout the trek. Dipak my guide was knowledgeable, alert and so funny at times and made the trip enjoyable and helped me to reach the top of my childhood goal. Never did I doubt my safety or question if I had made the wrong choice. I can’t wait to bring my friends & family next time. I would love for them to see the beautiful culture, taste the amazing food and enjoy the spectacular view from the top! So grateful for this experience!

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you are satisfied with your trip and our teamwork. We try our best to our valuable gust. Trekking in Nepal is always challenging, and the mountains are always risky. So we have to manage time and situations too. We are looking forward to seeing your friends and family in the near future. We look forward to seeing you in Nepal to meet the Nepal trekking trip. Best Regard Dipak Pande +9779849023179

Ghorepani Poonhill Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Ghorepani Poonhill Trek cost?

    +

Prices start at $700 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Ghorepani Poonhill Trek take?

    +

Plan for about 216 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Ghorepani Poonhill Trek worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Ghorepani Poonhill Trek?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Ghorepani Poonhill Trek suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 216-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Ghorepani Poonhill Trek?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 216-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Ghorepani Poonhill Trek start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Ghorepani Poonhill Trek?

    +

Included: Both way Transportation; 2 nights accommodation; Lunch; anding and/or facility fees; and Dinner. Not included: Any drinks; Tips for guide and hotel staffs; and Food during the way to chitwan and chitwan to kathmandu. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Ghorepani Poonhill Trek include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 2 listed pickup locations in and around Kathmandu. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Ghorepani Poonhill Trek offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Ghorepani Poonhill Trek?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

What happens to Ghorepani Poonhill Trek if the weather is bad?

    +

This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.

What do travelers say about Ghorepani Poonhill Trek?

    +

Across 7 reviews averaging 5.0 out of 5, recurring themes include the guide, organization, food and drink. Travelers single out the guide as the reason the experience works.
