Excellent wine Tour of the Valencia region and lunch
We had an unforgettable experience with Toni of Valencia Cellar Tours. I reached out to him last minute while we were still on our cruise, just a day before arriving in Valencia — and incredibly, he pulled off an exceptional wine country experience for a group of 13 with absolute professionalism and ease. Toni personally organized a private visit to the prestigious Bodega Chozas Carrascal, a stunning family-owned winery nestled in the Requena wine region. The estate is breathtaking — elegant vineyards, beautiful architecture, and a boutique ambiance that feels both refined and welcoming. Our tasting experience was beautifully curated, featuring a wine and cheese pairing that highlighted local specialties. We were served up to six different wines, and Toni and the winery team even brought out special additional wines upon request, making the experience feel incredibly personalized. Toni also brought along his own artisanal wine and olive oil for us to taste, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Following the winery visit, Toni arranged an excellent lunch reservation for our entire group at Yantar, a Michelin-recommended restaurant located in the charming historic town of Requena. The food, atmosphere, and service were outstanding — a perfect continuation of the wine experience. From start to finish, Toni’s communication, flexibility, and insider access were exceptional. He turned what could have been a stressful last-minute planning situation into a seamless, luxurious, and unforgettable day in Valencia wine country. I highly recommend Valencia Cellar Tours to anyone looking for a high-caliber, personalized wine experience in Spain. Toni delivers not just a tour — but a curated, memorable, and truly authentic journey through the region’s finest.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review . Your family and friends company was a delight and I appreciate your review and valueable custom! Toni Martin www.valenciancellars.com

Spectacular introduction to Bobal and Requena DO.
Toni arranged a wonderful tour of wineries around the Requena DO. Loved each of the tastings. He is much more than just your driver and guide. Toni intimately knows the growing region and it's wines, and even has his own vineyard! Perfect day, perfect tour.
Response from the operator: Many thanks ,

A great guide, high quality wine, fantastic food, plenty of tastings and great value for money. Highly recommended.
We booked direct via Valencia Cellar Tours website, choosing 3 winery tasting tour with Toni who collected us from our accomodation and we spent a fantastic day with delicious food and high quality wine with numerous tastings at each winery. We had our baby with us and Toni sourced a baby seat for the vehicle and made sure she was comfortable during the day. Toni was hospitable and extremely knowledgeable, providing us with plenty of information about varieties, processes and the intricacies of wine production. Toni even went out of his way to show us into a local town in a historical area after the tour with an additional tasting that we weren’t expecting which was very pleasant and a perfect finish to the day. A great guide, high quality wine, fantastic food, plenty of tastings and great value for money. Highly recommended.

Why this scores 49
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Full Day Private Requena Wineries Premium Tastings: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Valencia.
How much does Full Day Private Requena Wineries Premium Tastings cost?
+
Prices start at $312 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Valencia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Full Day Private Requena Wineries Premium Tastings take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Valencia is not rushed.
Is Full Day Private Requena Wineries Premium Tastings worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Valencia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Full Day Private Requena Wineries Premium Tastings?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Full Day Private Requena Wineries Premium Tastings suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Full Day Private Requena Wineries Premium Tastings?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Valencia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Valencia and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Full Day Private Requena Wineries Premium Tastings start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Valencia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Valencia?
+
On Outty we rank every Valencia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Valencia Bike Tour from the City to the Beach, plus Bike Guy App!, Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia, Real Paella Cooking Class – Market Visit & Sangría Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Valencia?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Valencia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
