A fabulous tour from Porto to Lisboa!

We are three women from the states, excited to experience the best of Portugal. Job, our tour guide and now friend provided a lovely experience. Our prompt pick up from our hotel provided a welcoming start. Job offered a friendly smile that put us at ease immediately. A native of Porto, Job was knowledgeable, a great story teller and fun to be around. Our stops included Aviero, Nazare and Obidos. One scenic and interesting town after another. Job has excellent driving skills and his courtesy related to our needs was anticipated at every turn. Needless to say we were thrilled.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are absolutely delighted to hear that your journey through Portugal was such a memorable experience. It’s especially rewarding to know that Job helped make your day so enjoyable with his warm personality, local knowledge, and passion for sharing the beauty and culture of Portugal. Aveiro, Nazaré, and Óbidos are truly special destinations, and we're thrilled that you enjoyed exploring each of them. Your kind words about Job’s storytelling, professionalism, driving skills, and attention to your needs mean a great deal to us. We will be sure to share your feedback with him—it will make his day! Thank you for choosing to travel with us. It was our pleasure to be part of your Portuguese adventure, and we hope to welcome you back again someday for even more unforgettable experiences.

Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Porto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
