    Really great tour of the...

Really great tour of the Minho region of Portugal. It is a long day but the bus is very comfortable, well air conditioned and the tour guides are very accommodating and really well knowledges with their history and facts. Highly recommend.

Guids amazing, left us wanting more.

An awesome taste of Portugal culture that let me wanting more. Our guides Paulo and Maria were amazing, helpful, hilarious and great at keeping the tour going. They really made the whole tour for us, and it was an amazing adventure. The timing is tight, so you don't get a ton of time in some areas like Braga and Guimarães, but I think it's still worth it to go with this one that includes Viano do Castelo!

This Was extraordinary beautiful each City has the unique architecture and history, we enjoyed each one of them. Our tour guide NuNo was great explaining each different city and answering all the questions. Highly recommended.

Good team but the tour is disappointing.

Mónica and Bruno are great guides, but the tour itself is a bit disappointing. You barely have time to explore the places, and some interesting spots — like the castle in Guimarães or the site with the king’s tomb in Braga — are impossible to visit with the short “free time” they give you. I actually got a bit lost in Braga, and when I called the numbers listed here to get directions back to the bus, no one answered.

Best trip and Best team Maria, Enrico and Lourdes

The most amazing tour guides and places to see. Maria and Enrico were the best tour guides ever. Lourdes was a terrific bus driver. The bus was very comfortable and air conditioned. This team above and beyond for us. My husband had difficulty walking and they were incredibly accommodating and kind. Made sure we were comfortable and safe. I would give them all 100 stars if I could. We learned so much history and the places were absolutely beautiful. Ask for this amazing team you will be so happy you did.

From Porto: Viana do Castelo Braga and Guimarães Day Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.

How much does From Porto: Viana do Castelo Braga and Guimarães Day Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does From Porto: Viana do Castelo Braga and Guimarães Day Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 10.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.

Is From Porto: Viana do Castelo Braga and Guimarães Day Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule From Porto: Viana do Castelo Braga and Guimarães Day Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is From Porto: Viana do Castelo Braga and Guimarães Day Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book From Porto: Viana do Castelo Braga and Guimarães Day Tour?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 10.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does From Porto: Viana do Castelo Braga and Guimarães Day Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Porto?

    +

On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Porto?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Porto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
