Very fun . Wear easy take...

Very fun . Wear easy take off shoes, because you are required to remove when getting on boat. Don't where mesh ones either, they fill up with sand. Drinks were nice and strong. If you want to get a drink before getting on boat, they are expensive I suggest waiting till you get on boat. If you get sea sick, make sure you take something before embarking. The catamaran will be hitting waves, didnt bother me but my sister was a little green in the gills. But she got over that. There's great music. Friendly staff, and we met and hung out with some people. The Isla mejeres was alot of fun . Lots of places to take pictures. And the ice bar was pretty cool ( no pun intended). You have to wear furry parkas because its so cold. Listen carefully to instructions before disembarking the boat in mejeres because boat leaves and then picks you back up at different dock sometimes. Also tables on the beach are rented out. And make sure to get a pass to use restrooms, when you get dinner. All in all it was a fun excursion and not to expensive. I would not recommend it for handicap people if using a wheelchair. There was small children on the boat with us, also people can get quite intoxicated. But didnt bother us, we were all having fun. It can be quite packed on the boat so I would suggest getting in line pretty fast when they announce your name to make sure you get a good spot in front of the boat if thats where you want to sit. They also have bathroom and sitting area on the inside of the boat.. if you want relaxing trip this is not for you.

    Meh not so great

Rushed crowded but checks the boxes they promised. The snorkeling was dangerous, very crowded and so rushed. Lunch was 1/5 stars, completely random buffet.

    The guy named Mosquito...

The guy named Mosquito made the whole experience fun!!!! I would have liked it way more if there was a tad less people so we weren’t all crammed, but I would absolutely cram in again lol. Thank you so much for a great time!!

A fun party cruise to a neat little island!

A great time. It's definitely a party catamaran ride! It's worth the price for sure. You will also pay $42 per person when you arrive for "dock and conservation fees." You leave the dock and head out to the snorkeling reef, which is more of a grass patch. That being said, you will see lots of fish. We also saw turtles and stingrays. The guides were feeding the fish to bring them in close. You're rushed in the water, and there are tons of people, so you need to be a fairly good swimmer. You do not get fins, and the snorkeling gear is pretty common store equipment, not high-level gear like most snorkeling excursions. Then you leave to head to the island. A quick stop to eat lunch at a very busy restaurant/bar. It has a really small beach, but the food was good. Leave there, back on the boat to the north side where we stopped for a quick dip in the water off the back of the boat.... very quick, like 5 minutes. Back on to get to the island. Once there, you get about 1.5 hours to yourself. The first stop is to their jewelry and liquor store. It was good, and we bought tequila there. Then we had about 1 hour to walk around. Very busy, vendors everywhere, and they are pushy. Prices are very high, but we were able to talk them all down a bit. Back on the boat to head home. Everything seemed rushed. Most of your time is on the boat, which is what we really enjoyed. There's lot of free booze while you're sailing. If you want a party cruise, this is it. They know how to have fun.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Exciting Catamaran Tour to Isla Mujeres, from Cancún! cost?

    +

Prices start at $49 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Exciting Catamaran Tour to Isla Mujeres, from Cancún! take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Exciting Catamaran Tour to Isla Mujeres, from Cancún! worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 49 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Exciting Catamaran Tour to Isla Mujeres, from Cancún!?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Exciting Catamaran Tour to Isla Mujeres, from Cancún! suitable for kids and families?

How far in advance should I book Exciting Catamaran Tour to Isla Mujeres, from Cancún!?

    +

Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Exciting Catamaran Tour to Isla Mujeres, from Cancún! start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
