Mount Everest, which is also known as the crown of the world, one of the highlighted to do activities of the adventure lovers. The mountains are waiting to find their fellows to be in their lap. Because of the Lukla airport (one of the scary airport, not the danger but as a part of the adventure), just flying and landing itself at this airport is another unique experiences. Cross the hanging bridges, visiting the Sherpa villages, Namche Bazar: the gateway to the Mount Everest, Hotel Everest View (the hotel situates at the max altitude), Tengboche Monastery a 350 plus years old monastery are some of the highlights of this trek.

The best travel agency in Nepal
It is very easy to write a good review when everything is going smooth and easy according to the plan. And I was traveling many times with Outdoor Himalayan since 2013 with great experience. But you will only new the real value when something is going wrong, when you get sick or need some unpredictable support - then you can be 100% sure that in difficult situations you will have the best support you can ever have. All the team is fantastic and really, I mean really care for the clients. This is the best travel agency in Nepal
Response from the operator: Dear guest Thank you so much for your thoughtful and heartfelt review! We truly appreciate your trust and continued support since 2013. It’s incredibly rewarding to hear that our team’s care and commitment have made a lasting impression, not just in smooth times but especially when challenges arise. Your kind words inspire us to continue providing the highest level of support and care to all our clients. Thank you for considering us the best travel agency in Nepal—we are honored! We look forward to many more adventures together.

EBC trekking with the best company
I highly recommend this company if you plan trekking in Nepal. They provide full support from the very beginning. The great advantage is that they are very flexible and adjust the trekking to your needs and conditions. Ramani makes impossible possible and will help you very quickly and effectively with everything you need. He not only provide relentless support during the trek but with many other topics you might have. I will definitely choose Outdoor Himalayan Treks for the next trip.

Felt Like Royalty
This was the second time in using Outdoor Himalayan Treks and I so glad I returned. From the moment I was greeted by Ram (manager of OHT) at Kathmandu airport, to the wonderful and detailed service on the trek from Krishna and Dipak, I felt like royalty. I feel this company goes the extra mile to make you feel you are getting the most from your time spent in Nepal. On my return this time, I chose to do the Renjo La and Everest base camp trek. My guide was Krishna, a man with 22 years experience as a guide has so much knowledge of the surrounding mountains and Nepal itself. My porter Dipak who has the strength of ten men and also the most kindest person. I feel the service in whole was a 5 star experience and I would highly recommend asking for these two if possible. You will come to use Outdoor Himalayan Treks as a client, but most definitely will part as friends.

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $1,099 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days take?
+
Plan for about 312 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 312-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 312-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What happens to Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days if the weather is bad?
+
It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Kathmandu. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
What do travelers say about Everest Base Camp trek- 13 Days?
+
Across 7 reviews averaging 5.0 out of 5, recurring themes include the guide. Travelers single out the guide as the reason the experience works.
