100% recommend Nepal Nirvana Trails, we will be booking with them again
This was a dream trip of ours to trek to Everest Bade Camp and after a couple of delayed flights and having to book new flights we finally made it to Lukla where Abinash and Laxman welcomed us with big smiles and the energy we needed to start the trek. From the start both Abinash and Laxman were incredible, full of knowledge and enthusiasm and were really kind. We developed a really good bond during the trip, sharing jokes, playing cards together and finding ways to make one another laugh to make our journey that more enjoyable. Abinash kept us in the loop with everything we needed to know, plan for the next day, weather, what we may or may not need during the trek including what clothing we should wear based on the terrain and the weather prediction. We made it to Base Camp and to Kala Pathar to watch the sunrise. We are beyond incredibly grateful to both Abinash and Laxman for giving us the experience we could have only have dreamed of !! They made it so much better than we imagined it could be. We cannot thank them both enough for all their hard work, pushing us when we felt like we had nothing left, but also understanding our needs and reminding us to be kind to ourselves on this challenging trip !! When we plan Gokyo E we are going to be requesting both Abinash and Laxman again, because we cannot imagine doing another trip like this without them !! Thank you to both of them from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done for us on this trip. Hope to see you both again very soon !! Thank you to the Nepali Nirvana Trails Team, I would recommend them to anyone looking to book a trip like this, thy have been nothing short of amazing with sorting everything out for us, especially KP who dealt with us personally, he gave kindly gifted us a Nepali Nirvana Trails Tshirt to wear for the trek, he rescued my camera from the taxi on the way to the airport and he kindly took us to the market to purchase some last minute equipment the day we landed in Kathmandu. Thank you to everyone from Nepali Nirvana Trails, we couldn’t have done it without you and your support. 100% recommend for trips like this.

Outstanding EBC trek
Absolutely outstanding Everest Base Camp trek experience with Nepal Nirvana Trails, expertly organised by KP and his team. From the first airport pickup to the farewell in Kathmandu, everything was smooth, professional, and very well coordinated. KP was always available, responsive, and proactive in handling issues, which made us feel very comfortable throughout. Our guide Man Bahadur and porter Navraj were warm, encouraging, and incredibly hard-working, making sure we were comfortable at every tea house and on every challenging section of the trail. The combination of meticulous planning, genuine Nepali hospitality, and stunning mountain views made this a truly memorable EBC adventure—highly recommended for every adventure seeker.

Outstanding Everest Base Camp Trek Experience
I cannot say enough good things about Nepal Nirvana Trails. My daughter and I just completed a private luxury EBC trek with Nepal Nirvana Trails in October 2025, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. We spent a long time planning for the trip, and KP (the managing director) and his staff (who are also his family, as it is a family business) were incredibly thorough and responsive to my myriad questions before the trip. Once we were in Nepal, KP went above and beyond time and again to make us feel welcome and ensure our trip – both during the trek and in Kathmandu – was truly memorable and enjoyable. After returning from the trek, we also booked a one-day Kathmandu city tour with him (see my separate review). As an example, he personally accompanied us to the airport to make sure our trip was smooth. Our guide, Bhairas, was fantastic. He was highly experienced, knew everyone on the mountain and at the tea houses, and was always attentive and helpful. He struck a great balance between letting us choose what we wanted to do while providing guidance based on his extensive experience as a guide. Our safety and well-being were always his top priorities. Our porter, Bala, was very helpful as well and worked incredibly hard to make our trip smooth and enjoyable. The trek went very smoothly and we were extremely happy with all the arrangements, including the helicopter transportation and lodging. The tea houses exceeded our expectations and the service was great. Most offered en suite bathrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, in-room charging, and electric blankets – only the last two had shared bathrooms. I want to extend my sincere thanks to KP, Bhairas, Bala, and the entire Nepal Nirvana team for working so hard to give us such a wonderful and unforgettable adventure.
Response from the operator: Dear Kevin, Namaste! Thank you so much for your wonderful and heartfelt review. We are truly delighted to hear that you and your daughter had such an exceptional experience on your private luxury EBC trek with us. Your kind words about Bhairas, Bala, and our entire team mean a lot to us. We would be honored to welcome you back to Nepal in the future. Why this scores 86
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $999 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days take?
+
Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 73 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 336-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days?
+
Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
