    Awesome experience!

Awesome experience and will do again! Me and my wife took a tour around Roatan, stopped at the rum tasting, went shopping, and went to the beach. Food was included and guide was so nice he threw in a few beers on the house.

Disappointing Dune Buggy Tour in Cozumel 1/5 stars We booked the Dune Buggy Tour in Cozumel because it promised dune buggy driving, guided snorkeling, lunch, and drinks. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. The guided snorkeling, which was clearly included in the package, was never offered. No one mentioned it, and we had to figure it out ourselves or skip it. This was one of the main reasons we chose this tour. The lunch was also very disappointing. The food was poor in quality and taste. It was nothing like the nice Mexican meal we expected. Drinks were included, but that was the only thing that was okay. The service was disorganized and unprofessional. We asked the guide to contact their office, but they said they have no local office in Cozumel — it is in Miami. They asked us to pay the remaining balance in the middle of the road, which felt very unprofessional. When we complained about the food, the man who said he was the restaurant owner told us, “This is Mexican food — you just don’t know about it.” The phone number listed on their website is not a real phone number. It is only a WhatsApp number for messages. What should have been a fun day turned into a frustrating one. The dune buggy ride had some potential, but the missing guided snorkeling and bad food ruined the experience. I have seen many positive reviews on their site and booking platforms, but after this experience, I doubt they are real. We will not recommend this tour to anyone. I suggest others double-check exactly what is included and make sure the company actually delivers it before booking any excursion in Cozumel. Save your time and money for a better operator

    Really Fun Buggy Adventure

We had a great time touring Cozumel with our guide Alex and his dune buggies. Very relaxed trip which included denotes, crocodiles, a tarantula, and yummy food and beverages. Very laid back and fun, 5 Stars!

    Dune buggy fun!

We did the Dune buggy ride with stops for tequila tasting, beach and lunch. It took us about 4 hours. Carlos was great and made sure the schedule worked for us. He was even able to drop us off close to the port so we didn’t need a taxi.

    Not for us

Carlos, drove us around the city. We loved exploring. We were disappointed with several factors. There was no snorkeling, lunch was plain, chicken or fish tacos. Tequila tasting was good, it was way over priced even with American standards. We were uneasy when first got there because of that it was a shack in the jungle with lots of mosquitoes. I guess based on the description of the excursion we booked we were expecting more than we got.

Dune Buggy Adventure in Cozumel with Snorkel and Mexican Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does Dune Buggy Adventure in Cozumel with Snorkel and Mexican Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Dune Buggy Adventure in Cozumel with Snorkel and Mexican Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is Dune Buggy Adventure in Cozumel with Snorkel and Mexican Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 33 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Dune Buggy Adventure in Cozumel with Snorkel and Mexican Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Dune Buggy Adventure in Cozumel with Snorkel and Mexican Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Dune Buggy Adventure in Cozumel with Snorkel and Mexican Lunch?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Dune Buggy Adventure in Cozumel with Snorkel and Mexican Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
