Snorkeling amazing but,,,,,
The tour itself, the snorkeling, the area we stopped was amazing and our group of four loved it. Why I only gave it three stars, is first of all put your sunscreen on before getting on board the boat as they tell you, you cannot put any sunscreen on and then get into the ocean water. So, of course we got sun burned. Also, even though it says all snorkeling equipment provided, it does not include fins , so bring your own fins. I think if they would acknowledge this prior to the excursion, it would be a lot better than letting you know at the last minute when you're on board.

Great intimate experience...
Great intimate experience to explore 3 different reefs and top it off with fruit and civiche! They also take photos and will send them to your email for a price!

Must Do while in Cozumel!!
We had an absolutely incredible time with Juan & Victor exploring the beautiful water in Cozumel!! They took us to several incredible spots where we got to experience some of the most beautiful water I have ever seen. The trip was made better with drinks and INCREDIBLE guac and ceviche they made on board and then served us in the water!! They were friendly, helpful, and so much fun and we all agreed this was a highlight of our trip!!
Response from the operator: Incredible review Ally ! Thanks so much for your kind words and for visiting us during your holidays. It was an honor to serve you and to show you the natural wonders of the island, please come back soon Familia !

Excellent snorkel excursion
Highly recommend this excursion. Jose and Chema were very professional and friendly. Private boat excursion with me, my wife, adult daughter, and granddaughter(10). The meeting location is 10-20 minutes taxi ride from ship. Boat took us to 3 locations for great snorkeling. We saw an abundance of fish species, turtles, lobster, nurse sharks, barracuda, and star fish. They had plenty of cold beverages including beer. They prepared fresh ceviche and guacamole and fruit plate that was very delicious and satisfying! I would definitely do this again! They provided mask and snorkels, but no fins. Note: Sunscreen is not allowed at all during the excursion. Wear rash guards and hats.
Response from the operator: Awesome review John ! Thanks so much for your kind words and for visiting us during your stay in Cozumel México. We enjoyed to serve you and to show you the natural wonder of Cozumel, please come back soon Familia!

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel Private Boat + Food + Drinks + Beach: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel Private Boat + Food + Drinks + Beach cost?
+
Prices start at $523 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel Private Boat + Food + Drinks + Beach take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel Private Boat + Food + Drinks + Beach worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 142 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel Private Boat + Food + Drinks + Beach?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel Private Boat + Food + Drinks + Beach suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel Private Boat + Food + Drinks + Beach?
+
Around 50 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does El Cielo Cozumel Snorkel Private Boat + Food + Drinks + Beach start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
