Sir Christopher Wren: The Quest for Knowledge is a new special exhibition at St Paul’s Cathedral that explores the life and work of Christopher Wren through archive material and personal artefacts. The Exhibition investigates the genius of Wren and his ever-enquiring mind, highlighting his achievements.

    Lovely!-

Plenty of walking. St. Paul’s was beautiful. That’s where Charles and Diana married. The Crown Jewels were amazing. I wish you could stay longer but they scoot you through on a conveyor belt. Our tour guide, David, was great!

Response from the operator: Dear Cynthia_T Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Crown Jewels, and that you found David to be a great guide. We understand how impressive these landmarks are, and how you might wish for more time at each stop—these itineraries are designed to include several highlights in one day, which can sometimes mean a faster pace in certain locations. We really appreciate your feedback and are glad David helped make the experience enjoyable throughout. We hope to welcome you on another tour soon! Evan Evans Tours

Crown Jewels of London, St. George's Cathedral and short cruise on the Thames

After a morning of sightseeing on our own (Churchill War Rooms and Westminster Abbey), it was a nice break to be bussed to a part of town we hadn't been able to explore. Our guide, Sandra, was knowledgeable, fun, and easily engaged in conversation. We went to St. George's Cathedral and the Tower of London then boated back on the Thames to Westminster. Other than a brief but soaking thunderstorm, it was a lovely afternoon.

Response from the operator: Dear n0rma19, Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re pleased to hear that Sandra’s knowledge and engaging approach enhanced your afternoon tour. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed exploring new parts of London, including St. George’s Cathedral and the Tower of London, as well as the scenic boat ride on the Thames. We appreciate your understanding regarding the brief thunderstorm and are glad it did not detract from an otherwise lovely day. We look forward to welcoming you on another Evan Evans Tour in the future. Best regards, Evan Evans Tours

    Unimaginable crown jewels!

I absolutely loved seeng the crown jewels! They were beautiful! Not only were there jewels of all kinds , shapes and sizes , but golden swords, crowns, sabers, and a multitude of gold in every room! The experience was one I will never forget! My one regret is that pictures were not allowed!

Response from the operator: Dear Christeon_b, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience! We’re thrilled to hear how much you loved seeing the Crown Jewels—they truly are a breathtaking collection of history and artistry. It’s understandable that not being able to take pictures can be a bit disappointing, but we’re glad the memories will stay with you forever. We hope to welcome you on another unforgettable tour soon! Pick a different tour

Not worth the time or money. We booked 2 tickets, one of us was sick so only one could go. They could not refund the ticket money. My husband who went on the tour said they hardly explained anything in the tower of London. I have been on other tours and they were so informative. He mentioned that there was a loud family on the phone and the guide Stella was not very good nor was she informative. This is literally the first time I’ve booked something on trip advisor / Viator that didn’t turn out to be good. Don’t fall for the ratings, book a different tour.

Response from the operator: Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. Please send us an email at reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk with some more information so we can investigate further. Best regards, Evan Evans Team

Crown Jewels of London Tour with River Cruise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Crown Jewels of London Tour with River Cruise cost?

    +

Prices start at $109 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Crown Jewels of London Tour with River Cruise take?

    +

Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Crown Jewels of London Tour with River Cruise worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 178 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Crown Jewels of London Tour with River Cruise?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Crown Jewels of London Tour with River Cruise suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Crown Jewels of London Tour with River Cruise?

    +

Around 62 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Crown Jewels of London Tour with River Cruise start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

    +

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

    +

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
