First and last time , horrible

Horrible 😔. Flies on the food Not everything was included No wifi Drinks were horrible No lazy river

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're deeply sorry you found it horrible and that several aspects didn't meet your expectations. We're very concerned to read about the flies on the food; this represents a hygiene issue we take with full seriousness and will escalate immediately to our kitchen and quality control team. We're also sorry that not everything was included as expected, that there was no WiFi available, that the drinks didn't meet the quality standard, and that the lazy river wasn't available during your visit. We'd love to follow up more closely on each of these points, so please feel free to reach out to us via private message sup-calidad@kuzapark.com with the date of your visit so we can investigate thoroughly. Thank you for your honesty; it helps us identify and correct these issues as soon as possible.

The Best Day-Pass Resort on the Island!

Kuzá is a relatively new day resort in Cozumel. I have been to every other similar day pass resort on the island over the years and I can say without a doubt, the value for money is here! We had the "Kuzá Full Experience" which included the beach access with umbrella and sun chairs, Unlimited drinks (and not watered down!), full buffet lunch and snacks, the beautiful water park as well as the huge Lagoon pools with swim-up bar, and also the ZIP lines as well as water activities such as snorkeling and kayaks. All this for only $8 dollars more per person than Mr. Sanchos with MUCH MORE included! 100% recommended! We will be back for sure!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed and valuable comparison with us! 🌊 It fills us with pride to know that, after visiting every other day pass resort on the island over the years, you feel this is truly where the best value for money is found. We're thrilled you fully enjoyed the Kuzá Full Experience: beach access with umbrellas and sun chairs, unlimited drinks that weren't watered down, full buffet lunch and snacks, the beautiful water park, the lagoon-style pools with swim-up bar, and the zip lines, snorkeling, and kayak activities. That price comparison against other island options, with everything included, is exactly the kind of value we aim to offer every visitor. Thank you for your 100% recommendation and for saying you'll definitely be back! We hope to welcome you back again soon to keep proving the full experience is worth every penny. 🏖️

    Perfect day to relax

The water park side is absolutely awesome! The water slides are fun, fast, and a blast. If there is one downside, it would be the lack of tubes and mats. During busy times, you can end up waiting for one or the other. The lazy river is very relaxing, but you can run into the same issue with finding a tube. The nice thing is that you can walk through it or float without a tube, so you can still enjoy the lazy river even when tubes aren't available. The pool and bar area are hands-down the best part for the money. The pool is massive, clean, and easily accessible for all ages. There is plenty of room to spread out, and the overall pool area is a great place to spend the day. The beach side was not a favorite of ours. While it was nice, there are a lot of trees and dunes that take away from the traditional beach experience. The buffet area was very well done, and the food was amazing. The biggest downside is the distance from the resort area to the beach. It is about a 10-minute walk, or only about 2 minutes if you can catch one of the golf carts. When we were there in August 2026, they only had two golf carts running, which caused some issues and made transportation to and from the beach more difficult. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The water park, pool, and bar area were definitely the highlights for us. If you're looking for a fun place with great water slides, a huge pool, and good food, the water park side is hard to beat. The beach was nice, but the distance and limited golf cart availability were the biggest drawbacks for us.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing such a thorough and detailed review of your visit. 🌊 We're thrilled to hear the water park side felt absolutely awesome, with fun, fast water slides, and that the pool was hands-down the best part for the money—massive, clean, and accessible for all ages. We appreciate your honesty about the lack of tubes and mats during busy times, both on the slides and the lazy river; it's something we're taking into account to evaluate available inventory during high-demand days. We're glad you were still able to enjoy the lazy river by walking through or floating without a tube. Regarding the beach, we understand the trees and dunes didn't offer the traditional beach experience you were hoping for, and we appreciate that feedback as we keep thinking about how to improve that perception. We're also taking very seriously your observation about the limited golf cart availability during your visit in August 2026; having only two carts running definitely isn't the standard we aim to provide to make transfers between the resort area and the beach easier, and we'd like to review this with our operations team. We're so glad the buffet area was very well done and that you loved the food. Thank you for recognizing the water park, pool, and bar area as the highlights of your stay. Thank you for such valuable feedback! We hope to welcome you back again soon, with improvements underway for the beach transfer. 🏖️

Good place for the day w/family.

The beach here is stunning! Great service and the buffet was good. We took our older children who quickly got bored with the water park so we went over to the beach. Small kids would probably really enjoy the water park. Use the tram to go back and forth otherwise the walk is about 10-15 minute from the beach to the water park and it's hot! The massages were great! Take sunscreen because you will need it. We would recommend this park. Fair value for the money.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing such a thorough review, full of helpful tips about your family visit. 🌊 We're thrilled to hear you found the beach stunning, that the service was great, and that the buffet was good. We also appreciate your observation about the water park; it's a helpful guide for other families with younger kids, who will likely enjoy it even more, while you found the beach to be the ideal option for your older children. Thank you for the tip about using the tram to get between the beach and the water park, and for reminding other visitors to bring sunscreen—those little details always help! We're also so glad you enjoyed the massages. Thank you for recommending us and for feeling the value for money was fair! We hope to welcome you back again soon for more well-rounded days like this one. 🏖️

    BIG NO

We went to Kuza in our NCL cruise from 8/2-8/9/26. We got the water park all you can drink and buffet. Let’s start with the pool, it was dirty and appeared not well maintained. We walked over to do the lazy river but there were tubes to use so we went back to the pool and to the swim up bar. The drinks were absolutely disgusting, they must have used the cheapest liquid possible. After about an hour we decided to take the tram to the beach, not alot of umbrellas but we finally found one. The water was absolutely gorgeous, turquoise and the temperature was perfect. After another hour or we worked up an appetite and went for the buffet. Let me say, I wouldn’t give this slop to my dog. Flies were flying around the food, dried chicken, beef and what looked like spaghetti. I did wait in line for a made to order quesadilla and was looking for sour cream, there was a bowl with what looked like white water which I guess was the sour cream, I didn’t see any guacamole nor did I see any salsa. There was one positive highlight and they was the waiter in the beach Guillermo. He was very attentive to all our drink needs, we paid for all you can drink but had to pay for bottled water. When leaving and boarding the bus my husband realized he left his phone on the beach so he took the tram back to the beach and Guillermo had picked up the phone. So overall the only 2 good things here was the beautiful ocean water and Guillermo, I personally would not do this excursion, look for something else.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed account of your experience during your NCL cruise. We're deeply sorry that, overall, you feel we didn't meet your expectations. We're very concerned to read that the pool wasn't well maintained, that there were no tubes available for the lazy river, and especially about the quality of the drinks at the swim-up bar, described as far below the expected standard. This is something we'll review immediately with the bar team. We're even more sorry about what you describe regarding the buffet; the presence of flies, dried-out food, and the lack of guacamole or salsa, along with spoiled-looking sour cream, are signs of a serious quality and hygiene issue that we're taking with full seriousness and will escalate immediately to our kitchen and quality control team for urgent review. On the other hand, we're deeply moved to read about Guillermo; his constant attentiveness with drinks, and especially the gesture of recovering and safeguarding your husband's phone, reflects exactly the kind of honesty and service we do want to represent our team. We'll make sure to recognize him for this. We'd love to follow up on the hygiene and maintenance points you mentioned, so please feel free to reach out to us via private message sup-calidad@kuzapark.com with the exact date of your visit. Thank you for your honesty; your comment is exactly the kind of alert we need to correct these issues as soon as possible.

Cozumel: Water Park & Kuza Beach, Buffet & Open Bar Included: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does Cozumel: Water Park & Kuza Beach, Buffet & Open Bar Included cost?

    +

Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cozumel: Water Park & Kuza Beach, Buffet & Open Bar Included take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is Cozumel: Water Park & Kuza Beach, Buffet & Open Bar Included worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 60 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel: Water Park & Kuza Beach, Buffet & Open Bar Included?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cozumel: Water Park & Kuza Beach, Buffet & Open Bar Included suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cozumel: Water Park & Kuza Beach, Buffet & Open Bar Included?

    +

Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cozumel: Water Park & Kuza Beach, Buffet & Open Bar Included start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
