    Not a good company

Tried getting in touch with the local tour company and never got a meeting spot. Viator tried reaching them for us an never got in touch with them. The phone number that was supplied to us was not a valid number.

Response from the operator: Hi David, Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize for not being a good company for you and your family on that occasion. You are correct in pointing out that our company fell short on that particular day. We encountered issues with our website domains, leading to email problems and difficulties accessing the platform. Additionally, at that time, an old phone number was on record, making communication impossible and hindering the restoration of access to the platform. We want to emphasize that, following the cancellation of the service, the platform initiated a full refund to address any financial inconvenience caused by the issues you experienced. Fortunately, we have since resolved all these problems and have implemented a reliable phone line to facilitate communication with all our clients. David, we deeply regret the negative experience you had with us. If you decide to return to the island, we would like to offer you a special rate for you and your family as a gesture to try and rectify the situation. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

Really Interesting Way To See The Area

Tico was our private tour guide and he was amazing. We did not want to do the usual tourist experience and opted to tour the island to see what the area is really like. Tico offered to take us to see the usual sights but also how the locals live as well. He was full of information about the area and how the people there live. He was open about his own experiences as well. We ended our journey at a beautiful beach club he recommended and enjoyed some great food, beautiful water, and a clean beach, with great views. I would recommend this tour and, if he is available, request Tico. I can not say enough how we enjoyed our time on this excursion.

    Cozumel - ATV

Absolutely the best and highlight of our Cruise! We booked this excursion last minute on the day of, emailed them and they were able to accommodate me and my partner on an ATV private adventure. We did a two person ATV and our tour guide took us on a private tour to visit the caves, learn about the Mayan people and even looked at live real bats in the caves. AMAZING time, only thing I would caution, ensure you bring insect repellent! BEST adventure ever!

Response from the operator: Thank you Karen for this amazing review!

    "Las Mejores Vacaciones"

Renata Navarro of The Explorean Cozumel All inclusive is the best tour guide ever. She has a magnetic personality, very professional and knowledgeable of every part of the Island. She maintains a warm, friendly, and most accommodating bilingual tour guide persona. She spearheads most of our activities like kayak class and snorkeling at El Cielo giving us awareness of the importance of conserving the environment for the marine life. She also heads our visit "Punta Sur" one of the ecological parks and with her great recommendation, I fell in love with the grilled octopus and conch salad - the best in the white sand beach. Today, she brought us around the island for cultural tour and shopping. We enjoyed the amazing panoramic view of the "wild side" of the island while speaking about the tropical and semitropical parts of the island. We learned a lot at "El Pueblo del Maiz" where we had an immersion of the Mayan culture. On the way, Renata taught us some common Mayan words/idioms and provided us recommendations for stops to buy gifts and souvenirs we want to bring home. Renata is truly an asset to the Explorean Cozumel! You are the best and we thank you Renata!

Cozumel...Your Tourist Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does Cozumel...Your Tourist Guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $87 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cozumel...Your Tourist Guide take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is Cozumel...Your Tourist Guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel...Your Tourist Guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cozumel...Your Tourist Guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cozumel...Your Tourist Guide?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cozumel...Your Tourist Guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
