This tour offers you the opportunity of visit this beautiful and magical island, enjoy a day in Isla Contoy, this is a protected Island that only welcome a small amount of people per day, walking in the white sand while having the most gorgeous views of the Caribe The first step of this incredible tour is the reef Ixlache which is our first point of snorkeling. After this, we’ll navigate to Contoy, where you'll can enjoy a trip of exploration with our certified guide. You'll have time to relax on the beach or to make a second snorkel on the shore. Later you will delight yourself with a delicious regional buffet meal. In our way back you will have the opportunity of visit Isla Mujeres where you can walk and buy souvenirs. A tour filled with nature and adventure!

Not for us
This was a very expensive tour for what we got and did. 9:00 Pick up at hotel to dock area. 10:30 Boat to Isla Mejures for a bit of shopping, Light breakfast of apples and muffins were served enroute. 12:00 Boat to Contoy. Due to weather and water conditions we were unable to go snorkeling, But this was not the fault of the tour company. The ride to Contoy was over an hr long. 1:30 When we arrived, we noted how beautiful the beach was. As some of the travelers were Spanish speaking and some English, it was decided to do the tour in 2 trips. Spanish first. While this tour was going on, we were able to go swimming. 3:00 By this time we were hungry so we headed to the buffet. Lunch was not served until the first tour returned at this time. We were told that a second tour in English would leave after lunch, but it would only be for about 20 mins as we had to the leave the Island by 4:30. lunch consisted of rice, chicken, pasta, salad. We were very disappointed in this tour and would not recommend it unless you are very very much into environmental issues. They only allow 200 people per day on the Island. The cost of this tour was $175.00 per person Canadian.

Too much to do
We left 20 to 30 minutes late because we were waiting for people to arrive in a van. This impacted our time that we had at Isla Mujeres . On Isla Mujeres we only had one hour from the time we left the boat to return. The snorkeling area they took us to was around a single rock. It was very crowded and small. Snorkeling was nonexistent. The lunch was good and the national park was beautiful. In the future I would skip the Isla Mujeres portion because it is too short. We arrived very late back to the port and then there was no van for our particular group. We had to wait for 45 minutes for a van to arrive and take us back to our hotel.

The snorkeling area is choosen due to the location and the species that live there, this is in order to protect the nature and the safety of all travelers We will work into the improvements of the tour so in the future more travelers can enjoy the entire tour

Everything was great,the place,the staff,the food. Paradise is here. I highly recomend it. Both islands with good weather.
