The most impressive structures of Chichen Itza are located in the central area. There you will find the Ball Game, temples, the spectacular Castle (Kukulkan Pyramid) and the Mayan stone calendar that measures 25 meters. Toltec warriors are represented in the engravings that are around the entrance, at the top of El Castillo. This cenote is considered young, it has a circular shape and is closed by a vault, it has an opening in the surface, which allows sunlight to penetrate, once inside you can see stalagmites and stalactites in large quantities. This cenote is accessible through a tunnel with stairs.

Premier is not as advertised.
We booked the premier tickets. Never got premier inclusions. Toilet on the bus never worked so two toilet breaks adding 40 minutes to the journy. On the way back we got one beer. It states "on the bus beer wine soft drinks whisky tequila and vodka included', it wasnt. We did get 4 drink tokens with lunch but these were only for beer or a soft drink. We were then told to be at the bus in 35 minutes. We were only able to use two tokens and had to give the rest away. It states 11 to 13 hours we were just over 14 hours. We were given a sandwich at 8am then lunch at 12pm then nothing till the trip finished at after 9pm. There is a 30 minute stop at in a town on the way back but this is not long enought get a meal but you could grab a sandwich from a store. The way it was worded I thought booking premier was a bus upgrade but it isn't. No matter what you book you are on the same bus. The guides very very knowledgeable hence the higher score. I do not recommend upgrading from the classic package. Do not expect it to be an 11 hour trip as we had no delays and were over 14 door to door. Another thing I didn't appreciate was the 10 minute lecture at the end on why we should tip them then walking up the bus shaking a basket at you. Like he said at the start of the lecture tipping is optional.

Excellent combination of culture and bathroom
Long but well organized excursion with Xiomara and his brother Guides who have been excellent. Chichen Itza spectacular and very well explained. The Mayan people and cooperative too long and excessive merchandaising. Also I deserve it would be better to visit the pyramids first and then go to the Mayan market and eat later and not at 12.00 Bathroom in the unforgettable cenote

Not premium at all
Please save your money and don't book this trip, it isn't premium . The tour is advertised as English but spends most time communicating in Spanish, you are on a bus with all other passengers gers who pay a lot less and the only extra you get is water , a beer and a dry sandwich. I arrived at the center as it was closing so no chance to visit the stores. The guide couldn't answer any questions the group asked him.

Would give 4.5 stars if possible. Great day; but long. (a good value for money)
This was a fun experience; but a really long day overall (7am pickup / 9 pm return to hotel). The cenote was our first stop and the water was cold. Food at lunch was pretty good (but not great/amazing). It was a little disorganized on the logistics of getting served food and/or drinks; but we didn't leave that stop hungary. The Mayan ruins were really beautiful; we didn't feel rushed while we were there. The guide we were with was very knowledgeable and it was worth listening to someone w/knowledge of the site while there. The last stop was at a small city. I personally could have skipped this stop as it was a bit rushed and our bus had to relocate from where we were dropped off and it was a little stressful to get back on. I would have preferred to either spend more time at that spot (or skipped it altogether to get back to the hotel a little earlier). Overall, it was a great day; but very tiring; and we were glad to get back to bed that night.
