We had a great time in this tour. The tequila tasting was entertaining and informative. The tequila its self was so freaking tasty. Walking the city, touring the smaller town sights and learning about the village was amazing. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. The tacos were delicious. The first place we had them wasn’t our favourite but the other two made up for it. I’d definitely go again.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your comments we really appreciate since that help us to offer a great service Any time you need us we are here for you

If you like pushy shopping then this is for you...

Turned out to be a private tour as it was just my husband and I. The guides were amazing as was the tequila. We loved learning about that. Stopped at 2 taco places and an ice cream place. The first taco place was AMAZING! So beautiful inside. The ice cream was out of this world. The 3rd stop, tacos on the beach were not my jam! Deep fried chicken for me and deep fried fish for my husband. Batter got very soggy very quickly, definitely a 0 star for me... then had an hour to walk around before pick up. There was no tour really of the town, lots of pushy shops you get pulled into.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your comments really appreciate and i will pass this to the team to check about the Taco stops About the shopping in town well Consider this was free time not really guided so you can enjoy around and about how pushy they were sorry we can not control that since they are local vendors but anyway I will pass your comments to work in this Really appreciate

    A nice afternoon

We enjoyed the first two taco stops but the final stop was disappointing. The fried fish tacos were terrible. It was really just a way to have all of their tours in one place so they could easily arrange transportation. The lesson on tequila was great. I am not a huge fan of tequila but I found a style I really liked.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your comments, are very important for us to continue in the way to success Let me share your comment with the team and let see how we can improve to make it better

    Great fun very rushed

Great time n good food. Carlos was fun n energetic. However they should take the last restaurant off the tour. We were too rushed shopping in the stores to make all the restaurants and the last place was a rip off. They charged us $14 for 4 bottles of water n $10 for pico de gallo when the other restaurants provided it for free. They also rounded up the peso to usd. Kinda put a damper on the rest of the trip n I know everyone else felt the same.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your comments and really appreciate you shared so i can pass this and make sure we can do it better next time Any questions we are here for you

City and Taco Tour Puerto Morelos: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.

How much does City and Taco Tour Puerto Morelos cost?

    +

Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does City and Taco Tour Puerto Morelos take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.

Is City and Taco Tour Puerto Morelos worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule City and Taco Tour Puerto Morelos?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is City and Taco Tour Puerto Morelos suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book City and Taco Tour Puerto Morelos?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does City and Taco Tour Puerto Morelos start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tulum?

    +

On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tulum?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tulum?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
