    About this experience

We pick up the bikes in the center of Valencia. We first cycle past some gems in the old town: the Ceramics Museum, the old University of La Nau , the Mercado de Colon and from there we descend to the former riverbed of the Turia until the futuristic buildings of Valencia’s most famous architect “Calatrava” suddenly completely overwhelm us. A WOW moment to remember where we learn more about the architect and his works. We cycle back to the old town via the green lung and pass the remaining city gate of Serranos to the core of the ancient Roman city and that is today the beloved square of many: the “Plaza de la Virgen” If you prefer a private tour or a tour at another time, please contact me directly at info@gidsvalencia.com

    Top guide in Valencia

Annick is a relief to have as a guide in Valencia. In our own language she showed the most beautiful places, with correct historical facts but also with fun knew you that. She also visually presents everything with photos, so you can place many things better. It was so much fun, those 3 hours were gone in a flash! Also nice to know is that Annick is a warm personality, and that you immediately feel comfortable! No question avoids them. It was downright blissful and 3 hours pure enjoyment.

    Smooth bike tour

The bike ride is, even at 40°, an absolute must. It is a good addition to the walking tour. You really cross Valencia from old to new. Annick provides good and clear information and also provides useful and fun peripheral information. It is, in addition to being a nice bike ride through a large part of green Valencia, also an informative tour, with several stops where the necessary explanations are given with reference to the past and present. Definitely books.

Response from the operator: Ja… het was best warm maar fietsen door het park is altijd aangenaam. Ik ben heel blij dat jullie het leuk vonden! Gracias!!

Valencia and cycling, no doubt with Annick!

Recently we explored Valencia by bike together with Annick, a very experienced guide! We soon realized this with our group of friends, because every place we visited along the way got our full attention, because of how she, in an enthusiastic way, shared her knowledge of history with us. The tour was really fantastic! Thanks to Annick's many tips, we got a different view of the city of Valencia and about the customs of the Spaniards. Thank you so much for this! Highly recommended.

Bike tour with city guide from old to new: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Valencia.

How much does Bike tour with city guide from old to new cost?

    +

Prices start at $41 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Valencia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Bike tour with city guide from old to new take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Valencia is not rushed.

Is Bike tour with city guide from old to new worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Valencia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Bike tour with city guide from old to new?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Bike tour with city guide from old to new suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Bike tour with city guide from old to new?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Valencia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Valencia and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Bike tour with city guide from old to new start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Valencia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Valencia?

    +

On Outty we rank every Valencia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Valencia Bike Tour from the City to the Beach, plus Bike Guy App!, Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia, Real Paella Cooking Class – Market Visit & Sangría Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Valencia?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Valencia?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
