I recently completed the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Mount Mania Treks.

I recently completed the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Mount Mania Treks and Expedition, and it was truly an amazing experience. The entire team was friendly, helpful, and highly professional throughout the journey. Everything was very well organized, from transportation and accommodation to meals and trekking arrangements. A special thanks to our guide, Balu, and the porter, who took excellent care of us every step of the way. They always made sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying the trek. The mountain views were absolutely breathtaking, and the outstanding service from Mount Mania made the whole journey even more memorable. I highly recommend Mount Mania Treks and Expedition to anyone planning a trek in Nepal. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and unforgettable memories!

Great time during the Annapurna circuit trek

My brother and I did an 11 day trek of the Annapurna circuit with Mount Mania and had a great time! Binod and Rupak helped us customise the trekking to our wishes in advance and helped us prepare for the hike (great packing list and office meeting before the trek). Our experienced guide Mohan looked after us very well, which allowed us to enjoy the views without having to worry about food, accommodation or the altitude. Transport, accommodation and food were arranged perfectly.

Amazing experience with the Mount Mania crew!

Our experience with Mount Mania was exceptional. The initial communication with Rupak was efficient, detailed, and easy. He was able to create a personalised itinerary for our 8 day Anna Purna Circuit trek. The package itself was competitive including everything we needed for a comfortable trek. Including transport options, three meals a day, and great accommodation. We really felt like we did not have to worry about anything aside from the hike. On top of all this we had an amazing experience with our guide and porter, Ngima & Brukesh. Ngima was the best guide we could have asked for. He delivered a service that felt extremely professional yet also fun which is credit to his 25 years trekking / guide experience. Ngima was always 2 steps ahead e.g. pre booking accomodation days in advance, placing our breakfast & dinner orders with kitchen before peak times, checking weather conditions and tailoring the days accordingly, my partner also got altitude sickness on the last day and we were so grateful to have Ngima there to help get him back to a full recovery quickly and continue with the hike. Our porter Brukesh was amazing, he was always prompt at making sure all our bags were packed on time and in the mornings would check our room to make sure nothing was left behind. Brukesh was reliable and consistent the whole time with him reaching the next village before us, and our bags already in our room before we get there. Ngima and Brukesh, and the mount mania team made sure we had an unforgettable trek from start to finish. Thanks… we look forward to trekking with you again in the future.

Best Trekking Experience in Nepal – Highly Recommend!

I was solo traveling (26yrs old girl) when I did the Thorong La Pass trek with Mount Mania — and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. From the very beginning, Rupak, the owner of agency, took incredible care of me. He was in touch before I even arrived, and once I landed in Kathmandu, he personally welcomed me, helped me get settled, and even took the time to show me around the city. That level of care and hospitality made me feel instantly at home. The trek itself was unbelievably beautiful — snow-covered peaks, charming villages, peaceful trails, and ever-changing landscapes. One of the best parts was the flexibility to customize the route: I was able to include a detour to Tilicho Lake, which was absolutely worth it, and adjust the pacing to match what I felt like doing. It never felt rigid or rushed — just like a true adventure. My guide, Balu, was calm, professional, and kind. He handled all the logistics, looked out for my safety, and quietly supported me throughout the journey. I always felt like I was in good hands, without ever losing the sense of freedom that comes with solo travel. Along the way, I met other trekkers and naturally, people talked about their agencies and packages. Many of them were surprised by how much I got included in my Mount Mania package for such a competitive price. Some even said they wished they'd found this agency before booking theirs — and I completely understand why. The personal touch and attention to detail is really what sets Mount Mania apart. Everything was well organized, the team was incredibly responsive, and the price was super competitive — especially given the quality of service. If you're thinking about trekking in Nepal, I genuinely recommend going with Mount Mania. Whether you’re traveling solo or in a group, they’ll make you feel welcome, safe, and inspired from start to finish. Huge thanks again to Rupak and Balu — I’ll never forget this journey!

Annapurna Circuit Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Annapurna Circuit Trek cost?

+

Prices start at $1,200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Annapurna Circuit Trek take?

+

Plan for about 360 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Annapurna Circuit Trek worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Circuit Trek?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Annapurna Circuit Trek suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 360-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Annapurna Circuit Trek?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 360-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Annapurna Circuit Trek start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Annapurna Circuit Trek?

Not included: International Flight Ticket and Nepalese Visa Fee; Hotel & Meals in Kathmandu; Meals in Pokhara; and Other costs not mentioned in 'Cost Includes' section.
