- We organize Sarangkot Dhampus hike for single people to maximum 14 people at once or even if you have more than 14 people then we can split the group into two or more groups (according to the number of trekkers) however you all can walk together and stay at same guest house and there are only different guide, and there are 1 guide up to 10 people and 2 guide for 11-14 people and a porter for each 2 trekkers.
- We provide trained trekking guide (handles the logistics and guides you and your team on the trek) and porters, A porter for each 2 trekkers and a porter carry about 20 Kg (10 Kg from each trekkers) and if there are more than 10 people in the group then we will provide you additional guide for the group.
- Your main luggage on the trek will be carried by porter and you simply carry a day pack with water bottle, camera, sun-screen, spare jacket, and etc, during the trek, as small loads allow you for full enjoyment of the trek. A trek bag is ideal for your main luggage, plus a small lockable bag for travel clothes or anything that you do not need during trek which you can leave at hotel’s locker room/safe deposit box in Kathmandu or in Pokhara for free of charge. Weight allowance at Nepal’s domestic airlines (if you are taking flight to Pokhara or return) is 15 Kg including your hand bag; excess weight is chargeable at USD 1 or more which is extra on our tour cost.

Amazing! (even in a crisis)
Had an amazing time in Nepal with Outfitters. Met at our hotel and felt so looked after by our guide Ravi. He was so attentive and his experience and knowledge made you feel so assured throughout. We had booked the Annapurna circuit trek with tichlo lake on an 18 day trek. The first week was fantastic, Ravi with his experience and personal contacts with the local communities got us into the best rooms with best views in the tea houses. The trekking was beautiful, Ravi explained each day the night before and it let us really enjoy each moment of the experience. I'm not a big user of social media but Ravi knew some great spots for photos and short videos to remember it all. We left in late September 2026 where there was very unusual and unexpected rainfall and snow. My fiancé has written about what happened on here also, so I won't give full account. Essentially due to weather we were in a potentially dangerous area, no power, no water, no signal. Ravi guided us to a safe village, where there was no risk of landslides etc. We felt very fortunate to have his guidance and how he clearly put us as his first priority. He had organised and helped out with the disater relief efforts in the Lantang region just 1 month before. Despite our feeling we were all in this together he was going ahead to find a room for us to stay and making sure we were crossing the dangerous areas safely. Ravi got contact with his phone and let us use it for international calls home and to our insurance out of his own money (We made it right later). Raj the head of the company kept our families fully updated and spoke to the embassy aswell. The way further down was unsafe, so the embassy decided it was best to leave by helicopter. Again Ravi's English and Nepalese helped coordinate the helicopter arriving. Felt very conflicted leaving as the locals did not have the option of leaving, but our experience with the people of Nepal is they are so kind and welcoming to guests the would have gladly fed us with their limited supplies without the road operational. So perhaps the best thing to do for that village was to leave and no longer be a burden. Raj, the head of the company, booked us an amazing hotel (free of charge) for when we got back and met us with Ravi the next day for lunch, and talked through options as to what we wanted to do for a safe trek. Made us feel so privileged... We did an beautiful 3 day trek and headed back to Kathmandu. I cannot fault Outfitters from their initial flexibility and organisation, to their response in a crisis. Would fully recommend.

The EXACT reason you get a guide….
Our experience with outfitter Nepal has been fantastic throughout. Our initial booking process was great, we wanted a slightly different itinery than the ones offered so discussed with Raj over WhatsApp. He gave us options, listened to what we wanted and emailed us over a custom itinerary which was great! He kept in contact with us from booking until arrival in Kathmandu when we met in person and was introduced to our guide Ravi. Ravi has been incredible since he collected us from our hotel. He has been friendly, understanding, genuinely interested in us as people and hospitable to the tee. He has been a fantastic guide, not just through terrain but recommending local cuisines-and steering us away from the slightly sketchy options too! We always, always had the best possible rooms with the best possible view and after the first couple of days of getting to know us, we would have fresh lemon ginger honey tea waiting every morning. I have a particular interest in wildlife, and Ravi did his upmost to help explain the local animals, landscape and plants- and was VERY tolerant of my constant questions and “Ravi, what’s (insert thing here) in Nepali?!” Which after 12 days he is still happily answering. One of the most asked questions Ravi and Raj get through enquires is ‘what happens in an emergency?’. Myself and my fiancé can vouch for this first hand. Sadly, we were unable to complete the Annapurna circuit due to the weather/landslides/road collapse/avalanches in Sept 26. We were stuck in Manang for two days before deciding we needed to descend. The route down was unexpectedly covered in debris from landslides, tea house we had stopped in were either gone or no longer accessible and water levels were rising. Ravi kept cool and collected, he is a very experienced guide with 30+ years experience and knew alternative or ‘old’ routes where possible. We collected multiple other groups on the way with the younger guide stating ‘we will go where Ravi goes!’. We became stuck with approx 60-70 other people at Thalekhu just north of Chame due to a road collapse and a burst river leaving the route un passable. The village had no power, no water, no signal. Ravi made sure we had a room, food and let us use his personal phone to call family at home and the UK embassy. It became evident we needed helicopter evacuation, and once authorised which took significantly longer than acceptable by our own insurance, Ravi loaded with the local helicopter agency and we were in Kathmandu in under 3 hours. Throughout, even through some teary moments, Ravi was understanding, reassuring and patient. He also kept in contact with Raj in the office who was liaising with our family back home. We felt safe as we possibly could throughout the crazy 3 days. Once back in Kathmandu, we had a lunch with Raj and Ravi to debrief and come up with an alternative plan as our trek was cut short. Again, there was no pressure and options were given. We decided on a three day trek through Chisapani and Nagarkot from Kathmandu which was also stunning and Ravi continued with the same level of professionalism. Ultimately, despite being caught in an unprecedented natural disaster, we have had the best possible time. Ravi knew the best view points, secret routes and checked in to ensure our welfare and safety. He is the king of dal bhat, champion of cards and we will miss him when our trek is over. I 100% would recommend Outfitters Nepal to anyone, especially those travelling in smaller groups as we were or new to trekking as they are entirely flexible with incredible local knowledge due to the experience of the guides. If we return to Nepal, which we hope to, I would certainly use outfitters again.

Making memories that will last a lifetime
We were originally meant to be doing the Everest experience but the weather meant we could not land. So Raj was very good at offering alternative plans so we did the Annpurna circuit instead. I went with my 16 year old son and we made memories that will last a lifetime. Our guide, Harry, was the most knowledgeable and helpful person we could ask for. We also had a porter who carried our gear, and was alwaya happy and helpful never missing a beat. With Harry it made it so much more than just a walk, he made it all come to life. The trek was really hard, like REALLY HARD, at times but still amazing. Everywhere you looked we say a picture postcard view, turn around there's another one. We went during monsoon season but it only rained for 20 minutes during the entire trek and the clouds parted at all the right times. I will come back in a couple of years, do another experience, only if Harry and our Porter can come along as they really made the trip for us. For the price and the memories it gives you it was excellent value for money.

AMAZING experience on the Annapurna Circuit Tour in June with Nakul
I have an AMAZING experience with Outfitter Nepal treks. I spent 16 days on the Annapurna Circuit in the beginning of June. An extraordinary time: the circuit was not crowded at all and the weather was great as the rain season had not started yet. Outfitter Nepal was very flexible and together we were able to build my dream itinerary. They answered very quickly, and professionally. Special mention to my guide Nakul that made this experience so wonderful. From start to finish everything was perfectly organised, he took care of the itinerary, adapted it to my needs, managed all the accommodations, meals, water… As a solo woman traveler I felt perfectly safe during the whole trek. He continuously made sure I was alright with no headache due to the high altitude. I can highly recommend him for your next treks!

Annapurna Circuit Solo
I booked the circuit and Raj was very efficient with his response / helpful accommodating changes to the plan. I had a fantastic time doing the circuit by myself with my guide Jitu and porter (Razan). They were very patient and helpful throughout the most difficult sections. Jitu was knowledgeable, organised all the logistic very well and it was always good vibes. They even carried a cake to celebrate my birthday which was very sweet. Appart from the first bus ride in a local bus which was chaotic, everything ran smoothly. The accommodation/ food were simple but good and the team organised a nice tour of kathmandu on the first day. Overall, it was a good experience as a first time solo trip and I would recommend to people looking to do the trek hassle free.
