Nepal Pokhara and Mukthinath Trip
We had a wonderful trip through Nepal Pokhara and Mukthinath region. Especially, Our guide Gobinda was very helpful and informative. He has taken good care of us and also covered important places to visit. Also he had good contacts with the locals in the areas we visited. I would highly recommend Nepal tour with Peregrine treks and tours. And especially Gobinda as a guide around Pokhara region.

Fantastic experience with Oregrine travels. they took care of every single detail so that we were relaxed throughout.
we were 4 of us middle aged people and our journey started in kathmandu then pokhara the same day where we stayed in a really nice hotel near the lakeside. we were met at pokhara with a very pleasant english speaking guide who had organized transport to take us to the hotel. the following day he organized a scorpio with a competent driver and we set off for jomsom in the mustang valley. the drive was fabulous. we stopped at several places to take magnificent vistas of dhaulagiri , annapoorna, nanak and other peaks. the guide was very informative and engaging. the journey took about 8 hrs and because of well planned stops we were able to acclimatize easily as we ascended to 2700 metres. We also stopped at a scenic village called marpha on the way to buy yak shawls and at a town called beni for lunch. we saw an amazing water falls and a deep gorge on the way with a suspension bridge. the road to jomsom was only partly paved so you need a really good driver which we had. Jomsom does not have much by way of infrastructure . we stayed at a decent hotel there. we left early next morning and ascended to 3700 metres to mukthinath. the driver stayed in the car park below while the 5 of us trekked uphill to the shrine. the guide who was fit and a trekker came with us all the way and assisted us. he also looked after our gear while we were at the temple and the nearby buddha stupa. While I found the trek quite arduous due to the altitude it was never unsafe and was well worth it in the end. the views were just amazing . we drove back to pokhara the same day reaching our destination by night fall. we decided to postpone our early morning flight out of pokhara and request pradip ( peregrine chairman) and he did so immediately with no further charges. the next day we flew into kathmandu where we are put up in a really nice hotel at thames park . it was a great way to relax shop and dineafter a grueling trip up the mountains . Pradip picked us up the following day and took us to the famous pashupathinath temple . he organised a special puja for us with a purohit. Having someone there to guide you through the temple complex was good because of the crowds . he had organized a large van in kathmandu to take us around. we had lunch at bhakatopur at a reputed restaurant and then were dropped off at the airport. At no point during our trip did we feel we were on our own or felt unsafe. Pradip had thought of everything and he even advised us what meds to take as we began our climb. He customized the trip to what we wanted to do and did not club us with other tourists. It really key that you have a reliable SUV ( scorpio in our case ) as uoi drive up the mountains as the road infrastructure is poor along with a good driver and a reliable guide who can communicate well. we had all three . i have no hesitation in saying that i would book through prefer one again the next time i come to nepal. My recommendation is that the more you engage with pradip ahead of your planned visit the more he will tweak things to make it fulfilling for you. he also got all the permits necesary so in any case you will have to talk with him and provide him documentation in advance

Brilliantly organised by Pradip, who also helped us visit Chitwan prior to the trek. Sajan was our guide for the duration of the Annapurna circuit hike. I could not recommend him more highly. He was extremely professional and allowed us to go at our own pace throughout. Most importantly, he provided excellent company. 10/10
