5-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek
In conclusion, the ABC 5 days trekking tour exceeded our expectations in every way. From the responsive and attentive agent to the caring guide, Shiva, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout the journey, every aspect was top notch. Not only did Shiva provide invaluable advice during the tour, but his thoughtful gesture of serving fresh fruits after dinner added a special touch to our experience. With a fair price for the quality of service received, we are already looking forward to joining another tour with them in the future. Highly recommended for those seeking a memorable and well-organized trekking adventure.
Response from the operator: Dear Tommy L Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that your ABC 5-day trekking tour exceeded your expectations. It means a lot to us that you appreciated the responsiveness of our team and the quality of service throughout your journey. We’re especially happy to hear your praise for Shiva—he truly is a wonderful guide, and we’ll be sure to pass along your compliments to him. Small touches like fresh fruits after dinner are his way of making each trek a little more special, so it’s great to know it made a difference in your experience. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we’re glad you found the tour to be both enjoyable and great value. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another adventure in the future! Incredible 5 days of ABC trekking
It’s an incredible experience! Our guide Shiva has managed to secure a private room for the three of us throughout the five days and all the guesthouses were of decent quality. It’s a pity that we didn’t manage to see the sunrise at the base camp due to the heavy snow, but overall we couldn’t ask for more!
Response from the operator: Dear TCCKENNY Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that you had an incredible 5-day Annapurna Base Camp trek and that Shiva was able to make your journey comfortable by arranging private rooms and quality guesthouses throughout. He will be especially happy to know his efforts made a difference. We completely understand your disappointment about missing the sunrise at base camp due to heavy snow—mountain weather can be unpredictable—but it’s great to know that the overall experience still exceeded your expectations. It was truly our pleasure to be part of your adventure, and we hope to welcome you again in Nepal for another unforgettable journey! Best Regards Ramhari Neupane Himalayan Trekking Path Pvt.Ltd

Easy as 123 with Himalayan trekking path
Annapurna base camp was an amazing trip, made so much better by going with this company. Our guide, Rohit, was friendly, reassuring, communicative and attentive whilst also giving my father and I space on the trip. Our porter, Amrit, was extremely helpful with the bags but on top of that was such a warm and kind presence. We always looked forward to seeing Amrit waiting for us at our lunch spot/ hotel and the end of the day. Ramhari, the manager, went above and beyond by moving our flights forward when we finished early. And rushing me back to the hotel when I put my passport in the wrong bag.
Response from the operator: Dear Zac and Steve! Namaste and warm greetings from Himalayan Trekking Path! Thank you very much for your kind words and for sharing your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that your Annapurna Base Camp trek was such an amazing journey and that our team helped make it even more special. It is wonderful to know that your guide, Rohit, provided the right balance of support, communication, and space throughout your trek. We are also very happy to hear your appreciation for Amrit—his kindness and warm presence truly make a difference, and we will be sure to share your compliments with him. Your recognition of our manager, Ramhari, means a lot. Going the extra mile for our guests is something we always strive for, and we’re glad we could assist you when it mattered most. Thank you again for choosing Himalayan Trekking Path. We hope to welcome you again in the future for another adventure in the Himalayas! Best regards, Ramhari Neupane Himalayan Trekking Path

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Annapurna Base Camp Trekking: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Annapurna Base Camp Trekking cost?
+
Prices start at $650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Annapurna Base Camp Trekking take?
+
Plan for about 240 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trekking worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Base Camp Trekking?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trekking suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 15. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 240-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Annapurna Base Camp Trekking?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 240-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Annapurna Base Camp Trekking start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
