Awesome trek
The trek was really well organized and our guide (Raj) was the best guide ever. It was unexpectedly cold for this time of year and we were provided with sleeping bags and warm jackets just in case. The porters were really sweet too, the whole crew seemed to be super attentive and helpful to us. Any problem we had was resolved and Raj took care of pretty much everything. Our group had 8 people in it, and sometimes there were troubles with people not feeling well due to altitude or just interpersonal differences between us, the crew always had something to help. I really enjoyed the trek!
Response from the operator: Dear Yulia, Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We're thrilled you enjoyed the Annapurna Circuit Short Trek with your family, and we'll be sure to pass your kind words along to Raj. "The best guide ever" will make his day. The weather can be so unpredictable up there, so we're glad the sleeping bags and warm jackets came in handy. Looking after a group of 8 through altitude and the occasional group dynamics takes a caring team, and it means a lot to hear that Raj, the porters, and the whole crew took such good care of you. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Nepal for another adventure soon! Warm regards, The Adventure Bound Nepal Team

Fantastic Annapurna Circuit Short Trek
Our Annapurna Circuit Short Trek was an amazing experience for my daughter and myself. Our guide Santosh was very knowledgeable, patient and understanding to our needs and was always very enthusiastic with an attitude that kept us motivated at all times. All the lunch places and nightly stays at tea houses were great and all went to making a very memorable experience. To top it all off, we had great weather the whole trip with snow falling on the trek up to High Camp and then a perfectly clear day for the trek over Thorang-La Pass. A fantastic trip full of wonderful memories - thank you Santosh and Adventure Bound.

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Annapurna Circuit Short Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Annapurna Circuit Short Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $1180 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Annapurna Circuit Short Trek take?
+
Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Annapurna Circuit Short Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Circuit Short Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Annapurna Circuit Short Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 288-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Annapurna Circuit Short Trek?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Annapurna Circuit Short Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
