Organized, responsive, kind, fantastic organization to book with!
I had such a wonderful time on my ABC trek - my guide, Sukra, was knowledgable, kind, and an excellent guide. I couldn't recommend him more. Rabin was communicative with the booking process, kept my extra belongings safe in Kathmandu when I was on the trek, and even arranged transportation to and from the airport in Kathmandu at no charge. Strongly recommend Everest Trekking for your hiking in Nepal!!

A tranquil and unforgettable journey
Had my first trip abroad with my girlfriend and it was fantastic! Rabin and his team arranged everything from arriving to departing Nepal. They helped us customized our trip for extended stay in Pokhara and Kathmandu and changing transportation to flights instead of jeep. Our experienced guide Torje and energetic porter Bishal were very professional and supportive. Big thanks to them and the weather, we avoided the rain and hailstorm most of the time. We're carefree and could focus on trekking, eating, resting and enjoying the stunning view and beauty of nature on the way. Couldn't help thinking ofthe next visit right after leaving.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek
The tour I joined was "Annapurna Base Camp Trek 10 Days" organized by Everest Trekking Routes Pvt. Ltd. That was a private tour. Highly recommend to everyone. My trip was so smooth with their full support. My requests were handled with great care. In particular, I asked for the mountain lodge accommodation with two rooms for me and my friend (cause we were not couple), and arrangement of airport transfers as we planned to stay behind. Everything was organized thoroughly and thoughtfully, with true attention to details. The team members were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the journey. Specially thanks to the company owner, Rabin, our guide, Torje and our porter, Bishal, who are full of experience, hospitable and helpful. They did their utmost to provide the best possible experience. I enjoy my trip a lot. I would love to join any trekking tour organized by them in the future.

A big thank you to our guide, Phul, and porter, Aita, for making our Annapurna Base Camp trek such a memorable experience. They took great care of us throughout the journey, always patient, helpful, and encouraging. A special thanks to Aita for preparing fresh fruits for us every evening and ensuring we were well looked after every step of the way. We truly appreciated their kindness, dedication, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

I owe so much of that to my incredible guide, Sukra Gurung. From day one, Sukra’s deep knowledge of the trails
Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp was an absolute dream come true. The journey transitions beautifully from lush rhododendron forests and terraced rice fields into a dramatic alpine sanctuary. Reaching the base camp at 4,130 meters felt like standing in a breathtaking, 360-degree amphitheater of snow-capped Himalayan giants. Watching the sunrise paint the face of Annapurna I in shades of brilliant gold is a memory I will cherish forever. The local tea houses were incredibly cozy, offering delicious dal bhat and heartwarming hospitality. It is a challenging but deeply rewarding adventure that I highly recommend to everyone.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Annapurna Base Camp Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Annapurna Base Camp Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $935 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Annapurna Base Camp Trek take?
+
Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 90 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 133 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Base Camp Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 288-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Annapurna Base Camp Trek?
+
Around 47 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Annapurna Base Camp Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
